Egypt is Israel's enemy just like every Arab country. Even though Egypt doesnt support anti Israel activity openly, behind doors its working to weaken it. If you read some intelligence news or listen to experts on this topic, A LOT of weapons are smuggled from Egypt to Israel thru underground tunnels.

Every Arab is now the enemy of Israel according to you. Where you get these claims is beyond me. Arabs = Muslims.

Tell me of another religion that is this much violent today. Clearly there are muslims who cannot get along with their neighbors. What does this have to do with them being muslim? I'm not sure.

Again, southern Phillipines in Mindinao, Kashmir, Chechnya, Serbia. All these are cases where radical muslims are at war with their neighbors. These are facts.

I have muslim friends and they are some of the nicest people I know, but that doesn't blind me from the reality. And the reality is that Islam is going through a transformation at the moment. Different sides are battling each other for which direction this religion goes in.

I was outraged that my fellow Americans were showing intolerance towards muslims after the 9/11 attacks. To be honest with you, it made my blood boil.

Why go after the people who had no hand in commiting the crime? Thankfully, things are better now, but there still is some racism towards muslims in America and I am well aware of it. Some gas stations were trashed and even a few foreigners were shot because the punks thought they were muslim, when they weren't. That was a shameful moment in American history along with the abuses of Japanese, German and Italians during WW2. Althought back then things got a bit out of hand.

your first quote is worthless. My parents didn't leave Iran because it was religious. My parents don't care for Iran period. It has nothing to do with religion.

Second, Iranians aren't religious. A select few are. Go do some digging up on Iran and Islam and how Islam spread in Iran.

Doesn't matter if I hate Islam or not. I don't make a thread every day about it.

My opinion on religion is just that. I don't have a theory that Muslims should be kicked out of the country nor am I so stupid enough to say "poor gas station people were shot and weren't even Muslim". I suppose if they were Muslims it would be all okk.

I don't think Islam = religion of violence. You quoted me on saying something about Islam in Iran and how it ruined it. Does that make Islam evil? No.

I think a lot of people are deluded by the fact that this is indeed a war of ideologies and not imperialist repression of third-world countries for financial gain. In the end IMO it comes down to what ideology you would like to see maintain dominance. I like ours.

Sometimes the impression that I get - and maybe I'm wrong, but it is my impression - is that the liberals today abhor dominance. Unfortunately that the way of this world. If you don't dominate, someone wil dominate you. Sure, idealisitically we should live so that nobody dominates anyone else, or at the very least that dominance is shared equally. Unfortunately that doesn't jibe with reality. In reality the old saying by Lewis Grizzard is true - Life is like a dogsled team. If you ain't the lead dog, the scenery never changes.
