ISO v-PRO w/ KVM supported Intel 1150 CPU - What are current models?

All I have been able to find are PDF's from 2010 and 2011. I need to have a system that supports BIOS level KVM and found the Q87 chipset is suitable along with the I217LM intel LAN chipset.

The problem is that I need to find out what current CPU's are compatible with this function/feature. Can anyone help with this? Thanks in advance!

Just pick a mobo and see what CPUs it supports

I believe the above poster nailed it. Even if the CPU supports a certain feature set, you need to ensure the Motherboard will as well. In this case I believe you are referring to VT-d and related functionality (http://www.linux-kvm.org/page/How_to_assign_devices_with_VT-d_in_KVM

Most CPU/Motherboards support VT-d these days but good to always check before pulling the trigger on the purchase.

VT-d isn't related, through most Processor models that supports vPro also have it. Since he is asking about vPro, the KVM that he should be talking about is Keyboard/Video/Mouse Redirection to do remote management, not the Linux kernel KVM module. He should check IPMI.

Aim for Q87 or C226 Chipsets for vPro. May want a proper Server Motherboard with IPMI.

I use IPMI (and it's variants) and AMT (the vPro component for remote management) quite a bit at work. A few things to remember vPro doesn't mean AMT is enabled. Some motherboard that support vPro omit the AMT component (the ASUS motherboard mentioned doesn't) as there's extra flash memory cost, etc. Most business grade desktops and laptops will have AMT support.

To generalize AMT is typically for workstations and IPMI for servers. Without getting to deep IPMI won't let you use the integrated video on the intel CPU you are stuck using basic video (Aspeed, Matrix, etc) this is fine for servers and almost preferred as you don't want fancy video drivers to crash the system. AMT on the other hand doesn't have this limitation that's why it's preferred for non servers.
