I have searched all over the place and have only found two ROMS. One doesn't work at all and the other stops loading at the first stage.

Beggars can't be choosers. Don't ask for ROMs here. -ShotgunSteven

While we're at it, does anyone have Windows Vista Ultimate, while we're asking for ISO's? I promise, I have a "real" copy in storage, so this is a legal request.

The high and mighty of AT have spoken.

Come on everyone! Jump on the moral bandwagon and condemn the OP for asking about a game that's 18 years old. Burn in hell OP for your transgressions!

I was going to help him out until I saw on the Wikipedia page that it has been recently re-released on DS and PSP in a collection of older games.

Oh honestly, if a game is no longer being sold, who cares if you pirate it? If they re-release it (as is the case with this game), then it's no longer kosher to pirate it.

If it weren't for people playing pirated ROMs, companies probably would have never realized there's a market for classic games.

You're exactly right -- the age of the game is irrelevant.

This happens every time some new guy posts something that's against the rules. It's not like everyone who has called him out hasn't downloaded or copied something that's copyrighted or "illegal". If you say you haven't, I don't believe you.

Granted, I know RB was somewhat joking, but is Vista versus an 18-year old NES a valid comparison?

Besides, there has been plenty of discussion of emulation, ROMs, and modified Xboxes (a popular emulation platform). I guess people only download ROMs of cartridges that they own.

How do we know he doesn't own the game already, but prefers to play the game via emulation?

Well it goes against the TOS to ask where ROMs are located. Now if he were to ask over PM, well then that might be a different story

It seems that I am going to... Anyways, I own the actual NES game and an original NES. They are both packed away and I don't want to go digging through boxes to try and find it just for some nostalgia gaming.

Regardless, it's against AT forum rules - so no asking for ROM's, ISO's, etc.

That said, no one but lawyers care about a Dig Dug ROM.

Torrenting is ur 100% guareentee solution, they're likely in Rom PACKS so just Set priority to the ones you want. the whole NES rom pack is probably like 400-500mb anyhow, so u may as well just dl the whole thing.

Dig Dug 2 is awsome, got it on my nds "r4ds" hehe

Also remember Iceclimbers THAT was hard fkin core gaming.

Back to the days when reflexuz countz.

I tried the ROM Packs. All of the Dig Dug II ROMs that I download, none of them work. I don't know if my emulator is outdated or if I need to reconfigure my video settings on it, but the game works fine up until the first level loads. It doesn't give me a Bad Checksum Error when I start the DDII ROM, so I know the ROM is good.

You can, but some ROMs just don't work. I don't know anything about ROMs other than how to pack one, so I am unsure how they could or could not work.

Anyways, now that I updated my Jnes Emulator, the ROM stops working directly after I press Start Game. It doesn't even go to the level 1 loading screen.

Jnes? Why not use FCEUltra? I've used that em for all my NES emulation and it's worked wonders.

I used to use that, but on my old PC (HP Pavilion Windows ME) it gave me problems. The problems were most likely attributed to the 70+ viruses in my System Restore Archive, but I stopped using it. I shall get that again and try it out.

Thanks a lot.

Hmm, FCE Ultra doesn't seem to have an exe like I remember it. It just has a bunch of one named files which gives vague instructions. And the README seems to be completely blank. Maybe I am missing something here, probably because I never downloaded it before since I got it directly from a friend.

Wow, I cannot believe I overlooked that... I shall go download that now (my internet stopped working for a while last night) and see what happens.
