Shifa starting to look a bit bad for Hamas. But right now only source is IDF, so keep that in mind.

It seems they found a computer with pictures of hostages.

the multiple grab bags with weapons also doesn't help.

the elimination of the hospitals video surveillance was also suspicious.

Apparently Hamas where leaving grab bags of ammo and guns behind the MRI.....not so sure about leaving metal objects that close to a giant magnet that will rip chair apart
all of those MRI machines were obviously non-functional for a long time. The hospital itself had converted the area into storage from the appearance of non-military supplies in the rooms.

---------------------------------------------

This is going to be another wait and see for mainstream press to pick it up and confirm. It seems the IDF has not penetrated the hospital fully.

Hamas has agreed in principle and Israel is now considering a proposal for the release of at least 50 women and children among about 240 foreign and Israeli hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza, according to an Arab diplomat familiar with the negotiations.
In exchange for the hostages, Israel would agree to a three-to-five-day pause “in place” in the fighting, increased humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the release of an unspecified number of women and children held in Israeli prisons.

This comes shortly after the news IDF soldier held hostage, Noa Marciano, age 19, died in Hamas custody:

It is unknown if Israel will accept the deal. I personally suspect it will be rejected.

UN Security Council resolution passed in favor of humanitarian pauses in Gaza fighting. Israel rejects it. Interesting that U.S. did not veto it. I guess they are beginning to feel a little sick at being Israels puppet in the eyes of the world.

I'm gonna say it's the opposite, Al-Shifa hospital looks terrible for the IDF, they found flimsy at best evidence and have been taking down their propaganda as it get's debunked. This was supposed to be their big gotcha and all they come away with is a few rifles...no command cnter, no hostages, nothing

And now the IOF is apparently starting to bulldoze parts of the Hospital

i can see it now, all the evidence was in the places they intentionally bulldozed right?

This reads like gaslighting.

They billed it as a Hamas Command and Control Center. Did Hammas
command and control" from 1 laptop?
And if these are all the weapons that were found, what happened to the rest? Israel has probably been monitoring the hospital for a while, they would have images of the weapons/people leaving. Did they leave by tunnels that are now cemented? Wouldn't there be evidence of a newly cement tunnel?
If this is all that the IDF forund, Israel is going to have lost a lot of whatever credibility it had left. They better have some more.

Seems like the newly cemented tunnel would be key. It wouldn't be surprising that Hamas would try to evacuate and remove as much evidence as possible in advance of the Israelis coming in. We'll see.

Noticed immediately that the MRI machines had to be deactivated. No metal objects in MRI examination areas due to obvious reasons.

Israel just isn't going to stop till they are salified that they have taken out HAMAS command and control and captured/killed most of the leadership that exists within HAMAS. Once they have good control over a sector with a well defended road leading to a hospital, then they will probably allow some humanitarian aid in - just to take pressure off their allies (they don't really care). All the Arab nations are backing off. They don't want to have to deal with the Palestinians either and many aren't keen on losing access to the local high tech resources that Israel has. So, allot of thunder with no lightning.

Even the Iranians are backing off. We've launched some deadly USAF strikes against Iranian backed Iraqi militia groups after our bases were attacked. Iran got the message, especially with two CSGs in the region. The US government has had a long history of backing Israel and is probably waiting an 'appropriate' amount of time before we push for a cease fire when Israel has achieved some of it's more important military goals. We are also in a difficult place given what we did after the 9/11 bombings - not exactly a shining moment for the US.

So that just that. People can keep protesting, and I hope they do, but I don't see anything changing over the next few weeks unless HAMAS just collapses unexpectedly under IDF pressure.

I am deeply saddened by the high civilian death toll and the lack of food, water and medical care. I'm just pointing out that Realpolitik is a bitch. That's all.

Well, technically, some metals are mri compatible, like Ti, cobalt chromium (arterial stents, etc), stainless steel, copper…but ferrous metals like the typical semi-auto rifles, obviously cannot.

Just 🤪

Well they found the HEARTBEAT of Hamas operations at the hospital. Their main military base command center, comms center, operation launch center. The new ISIS! NOBODY IS SAFE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD YOU'LL BE NEXT!!!!

And it turned out to be a nothing burger.

I think of the Israeli propaganda about this heartbeat of hamas massive operations military base command center to be something like this

Just so they could get their rocks off taking out the most important hospital in Gaza, chock full of their victims.

An incredibly weak showing by Antony Blinken on PBS Newshour tonight. When asked if the US could independently verify IDF claims of a command center under the hospital, Secretary Blinken stated that we could, based on "past Hamas practices and the IDF photos".

When pressed further by Amna Nawaz about independent verification, he stated something like "we expect further verification to be forthcoming as time passes."

This guys smells of Colin Powell circa 2003.

The Washington Post verified that the alleged tunnel shaft is located inside al-Shifa Hospital, but The Post could not verify where the opening led or what its purpose might be.

The IDF also said it found the body of Yehudit Weiss, one of about 240 hostages believed to have been kidnapped by Hamas, near al-Shifa Hospital.

As always, best to wait for independent mainstream news to verify where Yehudit Weiss died, and where she was found. The IDF is being super vague right now.

Rumors have them entering the tunnel soon.

South Africa stepping up, they've seen this before

~The ANC has welcomed the call of its leader, President Cyril Ramaphosa, for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate Israel for war crimes during its ongoing siege and bombardment of Gaza.

It said it would support a motion in Parliament to close the Israeli embassy in South Africa.

This the problem. Anybody can say anything in their own little closed universe. Why would N'yahoos word, a crooked politician who has no compunction to lie or cheat or steal be taken over the far more reputable and qualified views of professionals (incl Israeli historians) in their academic fields?

And why would N'yahoos words take precedence over what UNSC resolutions and international laws say?

UNSC Resolution 465 (1980) of 1 March 1980 [Adopted at 2203rd meeting - unanimously]
[The UNSC] accepts the conclusions and recommendations contained in the report of the Commission of the Security Council (on settlements); determines that all measures taken by Israel to change the physical character, composition, institutional structure or status of the Palestinian and other Arab territories occupied since 1967, including Jerusalem, or any part thereof, have no legal validity and that Israel's policy and practices of settling parts of its population and new immigrants in those territories constitute a flagrant violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention and also constitute a serious obstruction to achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East.

[The UNSC] strongly deplores the continuation and persistence of Israel in pursuing those policies and practices and calls upon the government and people of Israel to rescind those measures, to dismantle the existing settlements and in particular to cease, on an urgent basis, the establishment, construction and planning of settlements in the Arab territories occupied since 1967, including Jerusalem.

UNSC Resolution 476 (1980) of 30 June 1980 [Adopted at 2242nd meeting (14-0-1) (1 abstention was U.S.)]
Reaffirms the overriding necessity to end the prolonged occupation of Arab territories occupied by Israel since 1967, including Jerusalem; strongly deplores the continued refusal of Israel, the occupying Power, to comply with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly; reiterates that all measures taken by Israel which have altered the geographic, demographic and historical character and status of the Holy City of Jerusalem are null and void and must be rescinded in compliance with the relevant resolutions of the Security Council; reaffirms that all such measures and actions constitute a flagrant violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention; and reaffirms its determination in the event of non-compliance by Israel to examine practical ways and means in accordance with relevant provisions of the U.N. Charter to secure full implementation of this resolution.

Dozens more here:
So....you really don`t get it do you?? The United Nations is just a paper tiger at best! I am sure you can do better than your attempt to copy and paste.

They dont want journalists reporting on the atrocities committed by Israels indiscriminate bombing of Gaza. It makes them look bad and can turn the tide of public opinion and support for Israel. Plain and simple.
Again. You just do not get it ! That is not even close to being the truth! Israel was not the aggressor here. Israel has a right to defend itself! Hamas should have never started this.

You can guess all you want and you can spin this any way you want, which you are doing. Plus you have a bad habit of trying to legitimize what Hamas has done in the taking of hostages and you actually believe that the United states as a nation is getting tired of backing Israel?? Dream on!!
