Wow, so one of the most advanced militaries in the world is going to have to vie for peace because they ran out of ammo and ruined the moral of their personnel killing innocent civilians (and Hamas, a non-state actor) in their own backyard with full spectrum supremacy of the battlefield?

If I was the average Israeli I would be more worried about my country's ability to actually defend against a legitimate military threat now than ever before.

I don't see how Netanyahu's head doesn't roll over this, basically projecting weakness at all levels.

US is grinding the Russian war machine down with pocket change, Israel can't even purge their ghetto's properly.

Big. If. True.

Israel’s Air Force getting permission from Saudi Arabia to attack the Houthis was not on my bingo card.

They did it by provoking a genocide and urbicide. I hope all their supporters are happy with the cost of that victory.

remember 2018 when Palestinians were marching toward the wall of Gaza.

Israeli snipers were not restrained in 2018 as far as I know.

And there are credible reports that Israel was warned by at least one other neighboring Nations intelligence personnel prior to Oct. 7. in the weeks following the attack.

as well as a later report seeming to confirm that Israel should have had enough of a warning to be more prepared.

Hamas being a group of militants they are not the entirety of the Palestinian population in parts of Israel and Palestinians have tried non violence before. as reported by DemocracyNow.

Also look at the number of Palestinians killed vs the numbers of Israelis killed over the past few decades...

Israel is going for a record it seems.

From what I have read, our next president is not going to attend the war criminal Netanyahu's speech this week. She has been to the left on Biden on this issue.

I heard the same thing. She will meet Netanyahu in private but not at the his speech according to what I heard listening to youtube app in the background with the phone screen off. (a perk of the paid version as well as no ads).
Likely to avoid signaling as much support for Israels attacks as Biden did.

Another reason to like her in my book besides not being Trump. Hopefully she'll talk a little bit about keeping Biden's FTC and Anti-Trust appointments

According to the subs, she's "proud of the ruins of Gaza"... I was going to say that I was extremely surprised that they would describe their own act as a holocaust. IMO it is a reasonable word for the atrocities that Israel have committed, but anyway.
Agree. I dont think Israelis would use the same H term for other genocides. To them that would downplay their own big H which is most valuable in justifying any actions or atrocities they commit.

Considering the unfortunate number of people posting (who to me at least) seem to have a kneejerk reaction of defending Netanyahu for some reason...

I am posting this and will ask how does anyone (who knows about this admittedly old incident but one which highlights a current trend of U.S. politicians feel) about it. Especially if they have served at least one enlistment in any of the U.S. branches of the military or know or are related to anyone who has (especially the Navy).

Considering the nature of the attack and who did it, given the strong documented evidence by the BBC as one example that they the parties involved were well aware of who they were dealing with.

meanwhile the criminals are attacking Khan Younis again
To reiterate and get people to witness the horror of war.

What a 500,000 person evacuation looks like

I get Israel's right to defend itself after the massacre. I also get that waging war against a dense urban environment is itself an atrocity. The necessity of which may be argued. (I favor retaliation that targets Hamas.)
HOWEVER
That there is no plan to capture and secure all these people. Or to establish a refugee center. That these people have nowhere to go for shelter, food, water, or medicine is the crime of all parties involved. Both Israel, its supporters (us), and their neighbors (Egypt). Surely there can be a refugee camp without weapons, rockets, or explosives. Where even Hamas who escape are unable to wage war and engage in meaningful combat.

From the lack of meaningful humanitarian planning and coordination, to the countless reports of disregard for life...
Israel is clearly acting like any other nation with a disregard for human life. Like Russia, for example.

Would that we had the spine and the determination to forge a better path, one that could show the world that humanity can mean more than wanton rampage against the weak.
Would that we would demand this of our allies and work together to rise them up instead of rooting for them to fail like so many others.
Would that we were the good people who we pretend to be.

Yup Netanyahu congress speech was out of an orange monkey rally. They didn’t kill any innocents. They have the lowest rate of innocent deaths. Calling Dems that boycotted the speech useful idiots. Only part I’d agree with is the close relationship Israel has with 1st world nations. No matter how horrid their acts are, still must support Israel to fight Hamas

Israel did not become a vicious, genocidal state after Oct 7... it was always like that.

Britain warned the Israeli government that Israeli army behaviour in the West Bank was “more worthy of the Russian army” than a civilised country over 20 years ago, newly released official files show...

Newly released official files reveal UK and US frustrations with Israel over 2002 offensive in West Bank paralleling current concerns over Israel's Gaza offensive...

What you will not see in the MSM. Horrific read. Aside from an induced famine, water shortages and engineered widespread disease conditions..

US medics who volunteered in Gaza demand arms embargo over ‘unbearable cruelty’ inflicted by Israel

Doctors and nurses say death toll is more than 92,000, describe gruesome injuries and a sick and traumatized people...

Dozens of US doctors and nurses who worked in Gaza have written to Joe Biden claiming that the true death toll from Israel’s months-long assault is much higher than previously reported, demanding the US withdraw diplomatic and military support for Israel until there is a ceasefire...

“We cannot forget the scenes of unbearable cruelty directed at women and children that we witnessed ourselves,” they wrote.

“Every single signatory to this letter treated children in Gaza who suffered violence that must have been deliberately directed at them. Specifically, every one of us on a daily basis treated pre-teen children who were shot in the head.”...

Lebanon looked at Gaza and is begging for some of that action.
People of Lebanon should probably start fleeing... somewhere....

Hezbollah hits Israel with deadliest attack in months

Hezbollah on Saturday rained down rockets on Israel, with at least one hitting a soccer field where children were playing in the northern Israeli town of Majdal Shams right by the border with Syria. Initial reports say at least 10 dead and 29 injured, many thought to be children.

Interesting that out of all the news sources reporting this, you chose Fox News. Where the same amount of spin they give to Repubs and Trump they do for Israel too. I guess you like that as well as other RW trash that mirrors your views. And especially because they like to leave out inconvenient facts that may weaken their narrative.

Never mind that the victims were Syrian (Druze) nationals

Some 20,000 Druze Arabs live in the Golan Heights, an area Israel seized from Syria in 1967 during the Six-Day War and annexed in 1981. Considered occupied territory under international law and UN Security Council resolutions, the area has a population of about 50,000, split evenly between Israeli Jewish settlers and Druze. Most Druze there identify as Syrian and have rejected offers of Israeli citizenship.

And that Israel couldnt give a shit about (non-Jewish victims) on (not their) territory other than milking such events for all their worth and spoon feeding them to gullible idiots whose world view has been polluted by RW mouth-pieces.

And never mind that Lebanese civilians were also victims of indiscriminate attacks by Israel in their tit-for-tat exchanges with Hezbollah over past several months.

And never mind the 30 civs & children who were massacred by Israeli strikes on a school in Gaza just a few days ago. Was this a lesser event then the one you posted?

And never mind that Fox didnt even bother to say that Hezbollah firmly denied their role in the attack (whether true or not, it should still be reported like other media outlets did).

Tbh I see no advantage for Hezb to strike that particular (illegally occupied) area where most of the victims would likely be Syrians than Israelis. Why not strike Israel proper like they've been doing before?

On one hand you explain the back and forth tit-for-tat.
Then you follow up by pretending Hezbollah wouldn't do it. You know, despite bombing Israel for months. Yesterday is supposed to be an exception?

The rest of your post drips with feckless venom, and explains the inconsistency. You are for Iran's allies.
