So the dead Palestinian children are Palestinian soldiers? You seem to be glossing over them as if they don't matter.
No he isn’t. What has happened is the support against Israel responding with violence is over due to those videos. Doesn’t make it right. It makes it a reality.

Nope, as I said before, they're both wrong. I'm not defending the Israelis though. You were the one arguing their 'escalation' was justified by Israel's oppression.

So, Israel should retreat to their internationally recognized borders, build a wall there if they please, stop building settlements and then when there is another act of aggression by palestinians, I will say Israel was not wrong.

That's a fine stance by me. Call Israel out on their bullshit too, but I'm gonna throw a flag on the play for anyone who says the bullshit we saw from Hamas was justified.

This is my issue. The attempted justifications of murdering and raping with glee while ignoring the now perceived justification for Israel to respond in kind. Neither is right but that is reality.

I agree but it won’t happen and has no chance of happening.

I fully agree but the ignorant clowns in this forum won’t get it. They gave Israel Gaza on a silver platter. Israel is shit country but Hamas reveled in their barbarism not against oppressors but for their own evil. Also, Israel is the ally of US. Doesn’t matter the people on this forums feels they shouldn’t be. Welcome to reality 👍
just because something is reality doesn’t mean it’s the right thing. also you are putting the cart before the horse. never do that.

Yes and you seem to be focused on the perceived reality vs the actual reality. The perceived morality vs. the actual morality. And we are largely in this situation because the West just seems to care about the perceived reality vs the actual reality.
lol. Sure. I will stay here in reality while you justify horrors because other committed horrors. On ignore you go.

Where did I say it was right? I don’t think personally we should be allies with Israel over their treatment of innocent Palestinians. That doesn’t change reality they are ally of the US. How am I putting cart before the horse? Both sides are wrong but now the sympathy is with Israel who will use that to commit atrocities. I doubt they would be dumb enough to gleefully decapitate women and children on live video.

Hamas is threatening to publicly execute Israeli hostages in retaliation for strikes.

I understand that they feel their backs are against the wall, but I think they have grievously miscalculated.

Russia and their shithead allies like Iran think the west is on the verge of collapse and that enough pressure will push us over the edge, I think this has filtered down to Hamas.

Israel is at war, they aren't going to trade hostages. They're going to try to get them back and keep killing Hamas soldiers until they do.

That only forces Israel to enter Gaza.
They were going to anyway, but the hostage situation must be ended. As to limit their time being tortured.

you seem to be justifying Isreal as if they share zero blame for this situation over there. that is putting the cart before the horse.
Where did I justify Israel? Shakes head. Go back and read my posts. I DON’T WANT US to be allies with Israel. Their treatment of Palestinians is utter shit.

You made the point on perceived reality vs. actual reality. I would hope we would all be able to distill down to the actual reality vs. the perceived.
I think it's all horrific. But, you seem to think the horrors just started 2 days ago.
Put me on ignore becaue I don't fully agree with you? Well done.

Bruh, there's a huge, huge difference between killing the soldiers of a warring nation and breaking their military shit, and cutting the heads off prepubescent boys, or parading raped corpses around town. You absolutely must realize that.

Based on your justification, Isreal should just drop nuclear warheads on the west bank and gaza. All those people are gonna die eventually anyhow, and it'll end the conflict sooner with less Israeli deaths, so fuck it, drop the hammer.
I’d drop it on both sides myself. literally end the conflict from 2 shitty religions. neither side is the good guy here. total annihilation. otherwise this will just go on for centuries while we bitch and moan about it, but actually do nothing about it. peace will never be the solution in the ME. In my humble opinion. but i’m also an asshole apparently lol

Lebanon is making its preparations for its entry into the war, as their fighters attempt probing attacks at the Israeli border.

Israel responds with helicopters into Lebanon.

We should remember that Hezbollah is not synonymous with Lebanon. They have a political wing, but the Lebanese government has little control over them.

At least with climate change the whole area will become uninhabitable and maybe we can get the groups to settle on the north and South Pole respectively. Maybe the bloodlust would dissipate. Who am I kidding

I truly do wonder, what practical difference does it make if Hezbollah is the official or unofficial military force operating from Lebanon?
That force controls Lebanon territory, does it not?

They operate uncontested in Lebanon, but they don't exert much control at all. The government might like to rein them in, but they are too weak to do so, and aside from being antagonistic to Israel Hezbollah doesn't interfere with the government much. It's a weird situation.

Perhaps if the UN had done more decades ago ... ???

UN leader ‘distressed’ by Israel’s plans for a Gaza siege

U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres says he’s “deeply distressed” by Israel’s announcement of a complete siege on the Gaza Strip.
