I think people care but the politics in USA suffocate their concerns. It is sad i know but it is also how politics work. That sounds like an unwillingness to call out Israel to me.

"We would have morals but we might lose some votes so we don't say anything" - so no, you don't have morals. At any rate, it's an assumption that all (or close enough to) Jewish American people are pro the situation in Israel, added to an assumption that no-one else cares about the situation in Israel. I personally would bet that the Biden administration's stance on Israel cost them about 7.5 million votes, because being on the fence about genocide really isn't a good look amongst sane people.

Yep, I've referenced the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon many times in this thread. Mainly to provide context to Hezbollah and how they came to be. And to remind folks that Israelis barbarity did not begin only after Oct 7.

The 1982 invasion of Lebanon and wholesale slaughter of innocents was even cited by Bin Laden as a big factor in the Sept 11 attacks. This was vigorously scrubbed out of the MSM lest it put the focus on Israel as the bigger problem for the US.

It's basically six of one or half a dozen of the other. Biden is Genocide Joe. At this point there is not much difference between he and Trump - the annihilation of the Palestinians is happening, America is helping, the end result under Genocide Joe and Trump would be about the same. I think Israel will annex Gaza, and it would happen whether Biden's presidency continued or Trump takes over. Maybe on slightly different timelines.
