today's atrocities/war crimes perpetrated and/or committed by israel

If you look at the past five years Israeli frequently attack Journalists. They are among the worse country when it comes to targeting journalists with lethal fire.

I think people care but the politics in USA suffocate their concerns. It is sad i know but it is also how politics work. Don't get me wrong I think the israeli cabinet and many officers in IDF should be prosecuted by international court and locked up with the key thrown away but just because i think that doesn't mean it is likely to happen.

Journalists are Israels no.1 threat. They want the world to remain dumb and oblivious to whats going on. Those reports of civs, women and children dying are a concern to them. Rather than stopping the killing of civs, they simply go for the journalists reporting that. Even before Oct 7 they were doing that. The most unsafe attire you could wear in the Occupied Territories is a press vest.

Carter had the balls to call out the atrocities of Israel.

Joe Biden is just an enabler. Never has a US president look like such a fucking pussy to another country until Joe Biden to Israel.

What a fucking bitch and literally assisting a genocide. Biden, who barely defeated Trump to then be the biggest reason we had lowest odds to beat him again.

Joe Biden should be ashamed. It's amazing how shitty Joe Biden is and yet he's like an angel compared to Donald Trump.

Again it had more to do with the macro politics. It isn't that any president isn't willing to call out israel but the combination of jewish voters in the usa and needing a reliable ally in the middle east. If we could drop our desire to be dependent on oil and not be fearful of a segment of voters israel would get what it deserves.

He's a lame duck. You are on your last legs in age. Take a moral stand and call out Israel on your way out.

No fucking balls.

That sounds like an unwillingness to call out Israel to me.

"We would have morals but we might lose some votes so we don't say anything" - so no, you don't have morals. At any rate, it's an assumption that all (or close enough to) Jewish American people are pro the situation in Israel, added to an assumption that no-one else cares about the situation in Israel. I personally would bet that the Biden administration's stance on Israel cost them about 7.5 million votes, because being on the fence about genocide really isn't a good look amongst sane people.

Does anyone think that the Israeli government is a reliable ally for anything except furthering Israel's agenda against its neighbours?

Its not Jewish voters. Its the AIPAC corruption machine which finances any politician willing to bend over and spread 'em for Israel.

that ghoul Reagan had more balls than Biden did

~As a senator, he backed moving the American embassy to Jerusalem decades before Donald Trump made that a reality, boasted about attending more fundraisers for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) than any other senator, and savaged an effort by George H.W. Bush to push Israel toward negotiating with Palestinians. As vice president, he undercut Barack Obama’s efforts to push Israel toward peace

~Caspar Weinberger, argued publicly that Israel was employing “military force of a kind that we always have deplored.” (Two months later, Regan privately warned the Israeli prime minister that the Lebanon war threatened the “entire” US-Israeli relationship, calling it a “holocaust” whose symbol was “becoming a picture of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off.”)

~The prime minister claimed that he’d criticized the senator for devaluing civilian life. Subsequent reporting confirmed he was referring to Biden.

Yep, I've referenced the 1982 Israeli invasion of Lebanon many times in this thread. Mainly to provide context to Hezbollah and how they came to be. And to remind folks that Israelis barbarity did not begin only after Oct 7.

The 1982 invasion of Lebanon and wholesale slaughter of innocents was even cited by Bin Laden as a big factor in the Sept 11 attacks. This was vigorously scrubbed out of the MSM lest it put the focus on Israel as the bigger problem for the US.

Israel shits all over the Lebanon ceasefire terms and refuse to leave Leb territory while continuing to kill civilians and tear up infrastructure...

Confirming what many observers have concluded, Israeli paper Israel Hayom says Israel may decide to stay in south Lebanon beyond the 60-day withdrawal period specified in a ceasefire.

The failure to withdraw in 60 days would be yet another violation of the US and France-backed ceasefire agreement reached on November 27 between Lebanon and Israel.

Since the ceasefire, Hezbollah has stopped launching rockets into Israel and Israel has stopped the relentless bombing of Beirut’s suburbs, eastern Bekaa Valley and south.

But Israeli troops are still in the south, blowing up and demolishing homes and other infrastructure.

They also prevented people from returning to their homes in the south, fired at Lebanese citizens, and killed at least 33 residents of Lebanon in the last month...

Some refuse to accept Israels gaslighting and murderous nature...

Ha'aretz - Israeli-born author Avi Steinberg announced this week that he is officially renouncing his Israeli citizenship, citing its "ethnically determined supremacist laws" as the direct reason for his decision.

"Israeli citizenship law is predicated on the worst kinds of violent crimes we know of, and on a deepening litany of lies intended to whitewash those crimes," Steinberg declared in an op-ed explaining his choice...

From Jimmy Carters book "Peace not Apartheid"

The United States is squandering international prestige and goodwill and intensifying global anti-American terrorism by unofficially condoning or abetting the Israeli confiscation and colonization of Palestinian territories.”...

That was in 2006 when the book came out.

Imagine how Carter was feeling in last year of his life seeing his country enabling a genocide and allowing Israel to trash international and human rights and criminal laws while giving it cover in the UN security council.

Ultimately, the far leftists were pretty correct on Joe Biden - sure maybe some things would accelerate under Trump but it wouldn't be that much different at the end of the story. It's basically six of one or half a dozen of the other. Biden is Genocide Joe. At this point there is not much difference between he and Trump - the annihilation of the Palestinians is happening, America is helping, the end result under Genocide Joe and Trump would be about the same. I think Israel will annex Gaza, and it would happen whether Biden's presidency continued or Trump takes over. Maybe on slightly different timelines.
