For the Palestinians, it must have felt like a slow death for the decades.

Israel has been an oppressive country, and their actions have been terroristic in nature for a long time. Their people have elected hardliners who want to turn Israel into an autocracy, much like right wing nutjobs in the US want to do.

This only invites atrocities by Israelis. I don’t think Hamas knows what they have done. an autocratic nationalistic country with no remorse. Both sides are nuts but this won’t end well for Hamas.

There are innocents in Palestine that have been oppressed for generations by Israel. On the flip side, not everyone in Israel is a right wing nut job. There are those that genuinely want to live in peace with their neighbors. Hospitals should NEVER be bombed.

Sadly for both sides, I think it's reached a boiling point where hardliners on both sides will not allow this to end in peace.

They didn’t fire on Israeli territory, so I don't think that this attack will escalate with a full war with Hezbollah.

This terrorist attack from Hamas inside Israel will only legitimate Israel's counter offensive that will inflict thousands of deaths . The Gaza district will take the heavier punishment and Palestinians will suffer the most since infrastructure in Gaza will be turn in to ruins. I have a feeling that Egypt would have to open the boarders with Gaza for the Palestinian civilians to be able to escape to safety when Israeli forces will attack otherwise this will become a bloodbath.

Hamas and Hezbollah do not want normalized relations between Israel and anyone else in the Middle East being a 'thing.'

I dont believe Hamas will succeed on stopping the normalizations of Arab countries with Israel by attacking and taking hostages civilians. Already SA and the majority of the Arab countries have condemned these attacks.
