If people are given an evacuation route from Gaza, Hamas would eventually shoot/kill anyone trying to use it.

I wonder if those Palestinians that leave Gaza will be allowed to return again when it's under Israeli control.

Neat depopulation loophole for the territory.

Palestinians in Gaza can leave through Egypt but the problem seems to be waits up to 6 weeks for authorization unless you float the Egyptian authorities some bucks -- if they even approve you to begin with. Biden Admin will likely not get Israel to allow travel out of Gaza on their side. Hopefully they work something out with the Egyptians to expedite the process because this seems to be their only shot. They'll need to filter everyone to ensure Hamas members are caught so maybe Israel can give us lists and details and we can give that to Egypt. It would be worth while and likely necessary to incentivize Egypt's cooperation as well because they can just sit on their hands and do nothing. Grease palms and a bonus for every Hamas member they pick up is a start.

Saw this VICE vid on Youtube and this interview with a Jewish settler and casual inhumanity struck me.

In case anyone needs a reminder this was just a few weeks ago:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu angered Palestinians and their defenders Friday after presenting a map of "The New Middle East" without Palestine during his speech to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Speaking to a largely empty chamber, Netanyahu—whose far-right government is widely considered the most extreme in Israeli history—showed a series of maps, including one that did not show the West Bank, East Jerusalem, or Gaza. These Palestinian territories have been illegally occupied by Israel since 1967, with the exception of Gaza—from which Israeli forces withdrew in 2005, while maintaining an economic stranglehold over the densely populated coastal strip.

Biden admin looks to be very clear that they're not entertaining 'two sides,' that there aren't 'two sides' to this. It's effectively not up for debate.

Biden Press Secretary: "Our condemnation belongs squarely with terrorists who have brutally murdered, raped, kidnapped hundreds, hundreds of Israelis. There can be no equivocation about that. There are not two sides here. There are not two sides."

Full context available here.

IDF launches 250 air strikes in 60 minutes. 4.1 per minute averaged or approx 1 per 15 seconds. I'm not good with math unless it comes to money, I probably screwed that up. Nonetheless, these guys aren't fucking around. I might not be so impressed if it were artillery. Goddam air-strikes. lol

You can pull this kind of thing off when you've got the USA in your corner providing iron-clad support.

I just hope the current Israeli leadership realizes that if you treat people like inhuman garbage, that’s how they’ll behave. Is Bibi responsible for this attack? I can’t squarely pin the blame on him, even if he ignored warnings from Egypt. Somebody funded this. Someone profited off selling Hamas arms. Someone trained them for this attack. And I want everyone involved in pulling this attack off to burn in 1000 hells for eternity.

But…Bibi and his ultra right wing allies aren’t blameless either. Eventually, someone over there has to realize that pounding Gaza or the West Bank into literal dust will not make Israel any safer…they’ve already tried that.

A french journalist got there yesterday to check the story and asked the people living there , here what he say :

I can translate if google does not do the job accurately...

So basically invent horrible crimes so you can kill civilians at will in Gaza with the blessing of manipulated people, what is sure is that 300 children so far were beheaded in Gaza with bombs, that s a given.

The closest in resemblance to the plight of the Palestinian people were probably Native Americans 150-200 year ago. What was done to them had turned some to savagery and as had been portrayed in US movies/TV shows where they were referred to as savages scalping, killing or abducting women and children. Of course the 'good guys' were the settlers genociding them off their lands or herding them into reservations. They came from afar (Europe) and were entitled by their superiority and belief in god over pagan heathens.

The irony of how it would play out all over again 100 years later with different people. Just this time, the reservations were way too over-crowded and killing any who objected with impunity was a common occurrence. And despite international laws forbidding occupations, bulldozing homes, stealing land, water resources, razing farmlands and livelihoods, they still occurred. What occurs in WB affects Gaza and vice versa as they are the same people, many with families separated by the division of their lands.

And despite signing accords (Oslo) to pave the way for a 2 state solution, incoming right-wing governments trashed them as they loudly proclaimed all the land is theirs, no ifs ands or buts about it. Meaning, the inhabitants have begun to see themselves with no future, no livelihoods, severe restrictions on their movements, even to hospitals, daily violence inflicted upon them, eventually something is going to give and a militant minority may turn to savagery. Just like the Native Americans once did.

When settlers take root in your hometown (West Bank).

THe world pretends as if they learned Hamas are savages only today. No, Hamas has been savages for a long long time even before this evil attack.

The Hamas defense brigade led by the head snake will be here shortly to dispute this.
It has already been shown to be untrue, jackass.

Did you catch the start of the sentence?

I’m no supporter of these settler zealots, but I can’t say I’d shed a tear over any of these Hamas guys who murdered civilians getting the death penalty.
Thank you for the context. I don't like it when things are taken out of context in order to make things seem worse than they are.

I will say this though, only imbeciles support the death penalty in any context.

Israeli journalist Oren Ziv claims, during his tour of “Kfar Azza”, we saw no evidence that “Hamas was massacring children”. It is regrettable that “Israel” is now using these false allegations to intensify the bombing of Gaza.

IMO it's an awful bit of projection that Israel is doing here - accuse the other side of crimes that your side is guilty of. Or at the very least, Israel knows perfectly well the shitty tactics that its side uses, so when it accuses its opponent of crimes, those crimes have to be worse than Israel's standards for what constitutes as "going too far", which this example gives Israel a *lot* of latitude.

As per Zor Prime's post, 250 Israeli air strikes in 60 minutes. I'd surmise that each drone shot in that video constitutes one air strike.

Gaza is not a large place: 45 km squared according to Google. By UK standards that constitutes a not particularly large city, York for example is ~34 km sq, but Gaza houses over 5 times the number of people.

How many children were massacred just in those areas shown by this drone footage? How many thousands of children were massacred by the totality of those air strikes?

It amazes me that anyone is even remotely convinced by Israel's bullshit.

"Israeli defence officials have warned Gaza is going to be razed to the ground as they warned it will be reduced to “a city of tents”."

Are you serious? Why do you keep equating Hamas and the Palestinians?
Why don't you post the question he was asked. He said GOD gave him permission to build land(outposts) in Palestinian lands. (Mind you, even Israeli courts said what he was doing was illegal). And if those people don't recognize him, he will chop their heads off immediately.
I'm not trying to defend Hamas, but this settler and Hamas seem to be two sides of the same coin and I don't hear enough people condemning the Israeli side.
You can't make an argument one group is being barbaric while the other group is saying they'll do the same thing yet rationalizing why.
I don't want my tax dollars funding that. Seems too much like colonization because someone claims they owned the land 2000 years ago. There is a morality the US has lost in this situation.

Biden admin working on plan to offer safe passage to Egypt for Gaza civilians, per NBC.

Anyone remember what happened in Jordan after they took in the Palestinian refugees after the Six Day War? Hope history doesn't repeat itself.

Everyone must realize that the news cycle has entered state of fog of war and stop bickering over the minute details of what is being reported as well as taking everything with couple grams of salt…
100% this. Also, the propaganda wars begun they have. There going to be little clarity on exact details for a good while.

Sky news is saying the same thing...no evidence of babies being beheaded
The story lives on.

https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/inbar-lieberman-nir-am-kibbutz-hamas-attackers-dead/
The Israeli Defence Forces said up to 40 babies were killed, with some ‘burned alive’ and others ‘beheaded,’ it has been claimed by Israel.
Local security are said to have fought against Hamas for 17 hours before backup arrived.
"We have heard of 40 young boys, some of them were burnt alive, some were beheaded, some were shot in the head," Israel's economics minister Nir Barkat said.

And even if that exact number were not found at a single location, the massacre was rather intense and widespread.
We should not doubt children were among the dead, even if there are questions on specific numbers.

CNN: Children found ‘butchered’ in Israeli kibbutz in an ISIS style of killing, IDF says, as horror of Hamas’ attacks emerge
