So would nuking Iran. Those if those missiles landed on bibi and his party that would be justice.
If defense is proven inadequate, offense to remove Iran would be the only logical response.

Yes more escalation is clearly the answerSo would nuking Iran.

Biden is not going to get into a war with Iran.
Biden is not going to get into a war with Iran.
Biden would have the power to choose to not order the US military to participate in the war.And what power would Biden have to stop Netanyahu for dragging us into that war?
Has Israel stopped at any of Biden's previous red lines? Or respected any of the other wishes of the US?
We've seen this movie before in Iraq. This has been Natanyahu's plan since then. Just listen to any of his other speeches on this matter.
Biden seems incapable of putting his foot down even if it costs Harris the election this cycle.
Biden would have the power to choose to not order the US military to participate in the war.
There is a very large difference between allowing Israel to buy weapons from the US and involving the US military in a new war.
Biden does not control the IDF. Biden does control the US military.
Is your idea that Iran is going to conquer Israel? If Israel is overwhelmed do you think Biden would sit back and watch?
Israel isn't going to be overwhelmed. No one in the region has the ability project that much force. If Israel is overwhelmed do you think Biden would sit back and watch?

If @MrSquished got their wish, a decapitation strike on Israel. That would mean defenses had failed, government / military losses. Hundreds, thousands dead. And would occur again at a whim. Probably would. Such an outcome would have been the primary scenario for the development and use of nuclear weapons.Yes more escalation is clearly the answer
The US will never put boots on the ground for Israel. No, but there is a situation where this becomes a regional conflict. And what happens then. Will the US sit on the sidelines?
And there is a huge gap between Israel being conquered and Israel needing the US's help. And that is the exact reason the US has so many assets there now.
Israel struck Russia's Hmeimim Air Base on the coast of west Syria near Jableh. Both Syrian and Russian air defenses were active but failed to intercept the strikes. The significance of this development cannot be overstated. The Iranian dictatorship uses Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terrorist groups to attack Israel. Russia is not only militarily and politically allied with Iran, but was involved in assisting Hamas in the execution of 10/7.
More evidence in the "self defense" column:Some of the damage to Gaza mapped. Absolutely horrifying. I know because of politics there isn't much the US will do right now. But when (I hope) Harris takes the helm, I really hope she gives Bibi the finger.
Yes, Hezbollah retaliates by hitting a military training ground ~ therefore Israel will "have" to respond with additional carpet bombing targeting at least 100x that many civilians, per standard Israeli policy.Looks like Iranian(?) drones have scored a substantial hit on Israel from Lebanon.
Chances of striking Iran and carpet bombing Lebanon harder are increasing.
At least 67 injured in drone strike in Binyamina, 4 in critical condition
Another 5 in serious condition and many others in moderate condition following Hezbollah UAVs launched from Lebanon; 'There was a crazy boom without any siren warning'; Initial investigation found the drone was pursued by Israeli Air Force units but was lost at some point before it detonated
