1. no the ones that follow international law let israel do what it deems necessary to keep its country safe. may that be a blockade on gaza, tightened borders, a strong military, or stoping 'aid" from getting to gaza by a bunch of people claiming they are peaceful and then start a fight by grabbing a soldier's gun.


2. actually this has everything to do with gaza.you are a fucking moron. where do you think these ships were headed? a bottomless pit? Israel has a blockade on gaza, also blockaded by egypt, because people had smuggled weapons into gaza to attack israelis and instill fear for years in innocent civilians who only had 15 seconds to run from a missile which would land at a random spot, possibly killing your 3 year old child who wasnt old enough to understand the severity of the problem, or your 10 year old child who tripped on a rock was wouldnt be able to make it to the bunker.

Israel had a ban on supplies to gaza. period. this flotilla was heading to gaza.


3. yea, sure the activists wouldnt take over the whole army, but they dont want any of their soldiers killed. Especially when they were going on foreign ships they have repeatably denied entry to. For all the israeli's knew, they were headed onto boats rigged with explosives and weapons ready to strike at the first israeli that landed. It happened plenty in Operation Cast Lead. Schools, mosques, apartments, etc were rigged to explode once and israeli walked inside.

Suicide bombers are not rare these days. what makes you think israelis wouldnt expect a boat to have them?

4. No israeli commandos landed to give the people a stronger warning. You dont demand people to do anything in your boxers and a pencil. israel has given plenty of warning in the weeks before their voyage, as well as plenty of warning before boarding the ships.

If a group of people did not listen to your warnings, especially up against a group of navy commandos, you must expect these people to be idiots or smugglers thinly disguised as "activists"

This just in: I am blockading the nation of France, I will be patrolling with my canoe. It really doesn't matter if Israel had an illegal ban on supplies to Gaza. Turns out, people need shit to live. As stated earlier, the ships were checked out in EU ports; no 'terrist-supporting devices were on board.

3. So, if you are illegally being borded, you should automatically submit to the pirates?

4. A few shots off their bow would have been a pretty darned strong warning. If they actively decided to enter a potential hostile area, they can't cry foul when it becomes hostile.

I'd just like to point out that theres no reason to take these posts personal, and I'd appreciate if personal attacks would stop.

Israel has attacked those ships on international waters, they are no better than Somalian pirates in terms of International Laws, second they had all means to stop these ships without use of deadly force, sending commandos armed to the teeth right in the middle of crowds is a carefully selected provocation on their side.

when the president will speak somewhere, does secret service simply bring knives to protect the president?

Do the police avoid using tasers, batons, guns, hand cuffs to stop a criminal from doing something wrong?

do soldiers go directly into Iraq and Afganistan the day after they agree to go on a tour?


If you answered no to all 3, and dont be a fucking moron and try playing with the wording, then you would understand that israel isnt going to stop a group of 700 people actively trying for several months to sail to gaza with papers telling them to leave.

Israel gave FAIR enough warning to turn around months ago, and it seems the deaths of a few activists gave the rest a wake up call that israel was very real with its demands.

israeli citizens felt like that because hamas smuggled weapons into gaza to use against israeli citizens.

Last i checked, Israel gives supplies to gaza.

THEY GAVE FAIR WARNING. Obviously they knew what they were getting into. I do not see any crying on israel's part. Those soldiers were ready to die for their country the moment they accepted to go on the mission, simply being, they didnt know what to expect when they boarded

We have plenty of facts.
1. Israel told them they could not come months in advance
2. Israel offered to give gaza they aid they wanted to deliver
3. Israel said they would stop the ships
4. Israel came with 3 vessels aimed at stopping the ships from reaching gaza
5. The activists knew their chances and options once they started the confrontation
6. Israel, in the waters warned them.
7. Israel boarded, at this point, with the aim to take the ships to ashdod.
8. activists had knives, clubs, and other such weapons ready to protest against the israelis


I think we both can agree thus far on the above.

Israelis boarded and were met with resistance. deaths ensued until the activists realized they would lose against the israelis. it took 10 idiots.

shoot to kill? try shoot till you've made your point and protect yourself.

Problem being, Israel has no jurisdiction in international waters, and of the waters of Gaza. They can shout until they're blue in the cheeks, lawfully they had nothing they could do.

Pray tell, watch the video link I posted. One crew member was wielding some yellow pole, no other had weapons. Tell me, how effective is a pole versus an army helicopter? That chopper was just hovering there. If they were militants... they couldn't even store one RPG aboard? One pistol?
