For what its worth, Bulgarian officials have named a Swedish terrorists of Algerian descent
as the suicide bomber. Said terrorist is also alleged to be a former GITMO detainee.

In terms of learning who the suicide bomber was working for and the why's. Questioning a dead terrorist is rather difficult. Not even waterboarding works.

Catch a innocent unknown guy , take his identity papers , kill him and get rid of the body , now you have a perfect future suspect for a future false flag operation.

I'm not jumping to conclusions, but governments murder their own citizens all of the time. If they don't murder them directly, then they force someone else into doing it. My sympathies go out to those who were murdered and I hope those who were attacked but not murdered make a full recovery.

You are right Infohawk, some genuinely bad guys were at GITMO, but we also now know some genuinely innocent guys were there also. Who were simply detained and never charged for years and years and years on zero evidence.

Exactly the tactics the British used in our American revolution in 1776, and why we got a strong bill of rights in our American constitution written over 200 years ago.

Maybe there are people like Nelson Mandella who will not be bitter for spending over half of his life in jail, and become a better man for it. Sadly, most people treated the same way, may not be motivated by terrorists going in but will emerge seeking revenge and become full fledged terrorists.

And when we consider 3 million plus Palestinians are imprisoned with diminished impoverished lives in the land of their birth by Israeli government policy, its hard to get overly excited when only 7 or so innocent Israeli lives end in violent death. Why are not equally concerned when Israel uses terrorist policies and probably kills far more than 7 innocent children each and every day in group punishment terrorism?

Terrorism is rotten, unjustified, unfair, but when there is some much social inequity, terrorism is simply a symptom and not a direct cause of the disease. Why should a Palestinian life be worth far less than an Israeli one?

And here we are, outraged that Russia Vetoes dope slapping Assad's Syrian brutality in the security council, when only the USA does the same in ending Israel's 45 year military occupation of land Israel can never own?

Nice explanation, almost made support this bombing myself. Unfortunately, no one said any Palestinian is involved. So far, evidence points at Shia terrorists (Hizballah and their senders Iran).

Ok Sammy, lets do the math. In the past 7 years Israel has killed by in large 5000 innocent and Lebanese and Palestinian people in the combined rape of Lebanon and Gaza. Then we can factor in, that even today, over a thousand Palestinians per year have their land stolen from them so to swell the ranks of the some 500,000 Israeli settlers, so we can add in another 7,000 people into the equation to get the 7 year box score up to 12,000 plus.

Lets see 7x 365.25 equals 2557 days. As Israel in that time period has either killed or greatly diminished the lives of over 4.6 Palestinians and Lebanese each and every day and I use very conservative statistics.

Once in a blue moon some equally innocent Israelis are killed or have their lives equally diminished. But I would be greatly surprised if that 2557 box score exceeds .2 Israeli lives per day.

Yet let some innocent Israeli lives be claimed by terrorists we can depend on Sammy to come out of the woodwork to howl in indignation. But when equally innocent Palestinians and Lebanese pay the same price at 23X the same rate, Sammy is totally missing in action and never never condemns acts of Israeli terrorism.

Or we can ask, if Israel is winning yet when anti- Israeli terrorism is increasing and not diminishing. As Jhhnn somewhat pointed out, Israel has chosen to endure terrorism because they would rather keep stealing land they can never own instead. Rather than doing anything to make a just peace that would reduce anti-Israeli terrorism.

As far as the topic at hand goes, the Middle East has been a constant source of trouble for generations. Both sides are wrong and neither will let up long enough for it to build enough momentum to stop. I'm almost to the point where I say we should just turn the "Holy Land" into Chernobyl and tell them whoever wants to live there is more than welcome to, because that is where it is headed for the rest of us the way it is going. That said, I personally would just prefer they share the Holy Land and we stay out of it.
