Ok Sammy, lets do the math. In the past 7 years Israel has killed by in large 5000 innocent and Lebanese and Palestinian people in the combined rape of Lebanon and Gaza. Then we can factor in, that even today, over a thousand Palestinians per year have their land stolen from them so to swell the ranks of the some 500,000 Israeli settlers, so we can add in another 7,000 people into the equation to get the 7 year box score up to 12,000 plus.

Lets see 7x 365.25 equals 2557 days. As Israel in that time period has either killed or greatly diminished the lives of over 4.6 Palestinians and Lebanese each and every day and I use very conservative statistics.

Once in a blue moon some equally innocent Israelis are killed or have their lives equally diminished. But I would be greatly surprised if that 2557 box score exceeds .2 Israeli lives per day.

Yet let some innocent Israeli lives be claimed by terrorists we can depend on Sammy to come out of the woodwork to howl in indignation. But when equally innocent Palestinians and Lebanese pay the same price at 23X the same rate, Sammy is totally missing in action and never never condemns acts of Israeli terrorism.

Or we can ask, if Israel is winning yet when anti- Israeli terrorism is increasing and not diminishing. As Jhhnn somewhat pointed out, Israel has chosen to endure terrorism because they would rather keep stealing land they can never own instead. Rather than doing anything to make a just peace that would reduce anti-Israeli terrorism.

Well, Sammy. I will be glad to join you in condemning what amounts to a vicious and unjustified anti-Semitic attack on Israeli tourists visiting a foreign nation.

But still I see no condemnation if Israeli PM Netanyuhu, who minutes after the attack, and shooting totally from the hip said it had to be Iran behind the attack. Later on, maybe more responsible and equally clueless Israeli officials are now sating, wait maybe its Syria, maybe its Hezzbollah, and who knows who else. As some Israelis now blame the Omnipotent Israeli Mosaud who failed to detect the threat in time.

Yet when Israel and the Mossaud murders foreign national in other countries, Israeli officials scream in indignation prove it or else.

But that is just the problem SamurAchzar, When the State of Israel behaves so viciously, they attract hatred from all over the Muslim world and may I add from perhaps most of the nations of the world.

So point granted, two wrongs never adding up to a single right, but Israelis and Muslims catch the hate, no matter where in the world they live. And worse than that, we are not just talking one right or one wrong, we are talking millions of wrongs on all sides never adding up to one right.

As the larger question becomes, how do we defuse that hate and bury the hatchet. As I can site too recent examples. The Irish Catholic v English Protestant problem that lasted some 400 years, finally being solved. And the collapse of South African Apartheid
not turning into a blood bath thanks to the Wisdom of Nelson Mandella and Desmond Tutu.

Does the present or even the past Israeli government have leaders with the vision of a Nelson Mandella or a Desmond Tutu? Sadly I think not.

The ground hog has seen its shadow, and we can predict many more years of unjustified tit for tat violence and misery on all sides for the foreseeable future.

Lovely revisionist history. In 1996, Shimon Peres was ready to move forward with a lasting peace agreement after the Rabin assassination. He was ready to make most concessions and was considered a dove. During the election cycle, the religion of peace ensured that he would never get elected, by randomly suicide bombing Israeli civilians all throughout Israel. It worked in his favor and Netanyahu won by less than 1%. Peace is their biggest fear, because with apparent peace, there can be no hate, and without hate, there can be no agenda to wipe Israel off the map in both practice and the in the court of opinion which has obviously affected your tiny little brain.

Do a little reading in to the 1996 election before you spout nonsense. Unlike the Arab world, Israel has a wide variety of movements and opinions that are sympathetic (at their own expense) the Palestinian cause.
