Well, quite a few jihadi types think that the U.S. launched the 9/11 on itself to further it's "hegemonistic" goals and hence it should go to war with itself to weed out the usual suspects - the "Zionists" and the "Juice", so you may not be far off the mark.

It happened on August 19, the second day after the attack in south Israel and the killing of Egyptian soldiers by Israeli fire. The state run "Middle East" news agency reported it.

BTW, we have many private media networks in Egypt. Add to that satellite channels and the Internet. It's not like we're living in a communist country in the sixties
