This may be old news, but the idea of being able to see a live view of the Earth from a SPACE STATION we put in space, is just incredible. I was just checking this earlier during my night shift as I had totally forgot about it, it's awesome when there are sun sets/sun rises.
I wonder how hard it would be to set this up in a surveillance camera system, if something crazy happens it would get recorded. I imagine there are probably plenty of recordings already, that was probably NASA's original idea behind it, as if some weird phenomenon happens they can have some footage to study.
I still want to try to capture it with my zoom lens, but that would be ridiculously hard to do given how fast it moves. Could maybe get lucky and do it by hand with super high ISO setting though.
