ISU rejects Russian skating protest

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 22 ? The International Skating Union rejected on Friday Russia?s protest against Irina Slutskaya?s second place in Thursday?s Olympic women?s figure skating. ?The protest has been denied,? referee Britt Lindgren told Reuters.

Good. It shouldn't have been an issue in the first place though. At least somebody in the IOC has some sense.
