I got it up and running with the new carb (Eldelbrock Thunder Series 650 electric choke) and matching rims and new tires.

Sweet Did you put a lift kit on? Might just be me, have not seen a car like that in years. Here in Mi cars do not have a long life span what with the road salt.

tell me about it.

this car is basically rust free due to serious undercoating to protect it.

I don't drive it in the winter.

no lift kit just the factory suspension.

Which engine does it have? I haven't seen one of those in years. There was a guy in my Grandpa's neighborhood that had a Lebaron like that. I forgot that they were Lebarons.... I remember it because the first Lebaron that I knew was the front wheel drive car in the 80's.

a moded 318 with cam, intake, carb, double roller timing chain, electronic ignition conversion (eliminating Lean Burn) and dual exhaust.

I always liked the 74/75 LeBaron most. They were kinda big though, at least in omparison, IIRC.

well, yes. Those were Imperials with the Lebaron option.

Mine is a down sized Chrysler using the M-body chassis which was shared with the Aspen/Volare, Dilpomat/Gran Fury, Mirada/Cordoba and the Imperial of 1980-83.

Feedback carbs change the base fuel mixture in accordance to a sensor in the exhaust manifold, they were used at the time to meet certain emissions standards.

they are factory police rims (15 x 7) I bought several years ago.

if your bolt pattern in 5 on 4 1/2 then they will fit your car.

firstly, my car did not have a feedback carb. It did have a 2bbl with some very rudimentary sensors attached to it. The car had the Lean Burn computer on it.

feedback carbs are horrible for performance. GM had a feedback quadrajet in the late 80's that was just awful.

woohoo!!!

got my first noise complaint yesterday.

My one neighbour bitched about my car's exhaust noise while idling in my lane way. Her son has a celica with no muffler and he revs the crap out of it at 6:00 AM before going to work. I didn't complain about that. But let my car idle for 5 mins while making sure it running ok is a problem. I told her to go mind her own business.

The car is actually triple red: red landau roof, red body and red interior.
