as great as it is (i just love the strings arrangement in 'shes leaving home'), can you imagine it with 'strawberry fields forever' and 'penny lane' on there like originally planned? shipping trucks delivering the album would spontaneously explode due to the awesomeness contained inside.

40 years ago, that album REALLY raised a lot of eyebrows. "They're promoting use of illegal drugs!" and most of us just kicked back, and enjoyed the tunes...some "getting high with a little help from my friends", some not...
