It's 84º with 42% humidity and it feels hot, sticky and miserable.

It was sunny most of the day, got up into the low 90s.. and then the clouds rolled in.. Temperature dropped, but humidity shot through the roof.. for here. We don't usually get weather like this.

How do you east coasters deal with it? I think I would just keel over and die. :Q

Lots and lots of hot, short, and quick showers.

Where I am we had a temp of 98 with 72% humidity.. It's never fun here in the summer.

Down here in the deep South, upper 90's temperature and mid 90's humidity are normal in the summer. Heat index = temperature + humidity = Miserable.

AC is not a luxury but necessary.

I don't know how people survive before electricity and AC.

When I lived in Nashville, 90-100 with 90-100% humidity happened frequently. It really isn't that bad.
