Maybe a source for this?
And, who the heck gets to establish a month as such-and-such month? The Government? The National Calendar Producers Union?

I'm white, I'm male, and I'm straight. I am the enemy of the political correctness movement. My right to be a slovenly, proud man is being oppressed by shows like, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." I can no longer be a gentleman in fear of being slapped by a feminist. I am a dying breed.
Can I have my own history month too?
Ah, the segment of the population with the most economic and political power whining about their lot in life. Yes you have my permission to lobby your Congress to creat a White Straight Male History Month. Of course you know you already have 11 months now.

Am I proud Im am white? well I didnt really have much to do with it so whats to be proud of? Who I am as a person, and the choices I make are what I can be proud of but it really has very little to do with what color my skin is. I am one among many different kinds of people, and I like it that way. It makes for a very interesting world.
Oh yeah, Im not "really" white but I do play a white guy on telivision .
Im
25%Swedish
25%Syrian
25%Irish
25%French
and who knows what else
But dont tell anyone about the French part OK?
People who feel that race has much to do with anything crack me up, Its all about the Chi Baby!

Black folks. The burning of the Freedom Bus, the marches on Selma, Montgomery and

it's been a bitter harvest.
My hats off to the colored troops in the Civil War, the Buffalo Soldiers, the late Barbara
Jordan(read her speeches), the Red Ball Express that supplied Patton's advance(Blk truckers all, w/light armament).
If I'm ever in Texas at the right time, I will celebrate June Teenth. The slaves in Texas did
not know they were free until two years after the fact...:sun:

Sweetleroybrown HAS to be a racist white guy trying to make black people look bad. he's too much a stereotype to be for real.
only the stupidest of black people would really believe that what he does ACTUALLY contributes to the cause of minority rights.
From personal experience, if in a dark room, the most prominent features of a black person would be their eyes and teeth. Because the holes only shows black, I'd have to say it's a black person in the bag. Here are my reasonings:Originally posted by: GoodRevrnd
<-- My avatar is ashamed he's black. Or maybe he's ashamed he's white. Hard to tell, isn't it!
Usually, neglected people are given a special recognition so they can feel better about themselves, and their accomplishment.
