I wonder who's dropping the ball hee. The E Tailers? AMD? OEMs? Both Sapphire and XFX have posted statements saying the cards will be widely available today so it seems like its an etailer problem but all of them having the same issue?
I went to bed with Newegg up on my laptop, woke up and refreshed only to find...nothing new. It's on Amazon, but the Amazon option says "ships in 2-4 weeks". Sigh. If these don't hit by end of week I'll probably bite the bullet and spring for a 7950, a vid card is all I'm lacking for my new build.
All this holding out has got me looking at the GTX 580 from MSI and Galaxy. Any thoughts on those two cards other than they are huge and have a higher power requirement?

I'd give it a day or two and supply should even out. I'm not sure they are the best value at almost $400 a piece right now when you can get the 6870 for $169 or 6950 for a tad under $300?
I couldn't wait and had a Newegg GC as well. But if I was a bigger gamer or was on a tighter budget, I'd have tried to wait. But I am currently obessed with Skyrim and my 5670 is just too weak to really enjoy it and I need to play it at Ultra now (plus heat and power savings are a big deal to me).
Jumped on Newegg's Sapphire 7850 OC. Figure it might be a reasonable performance boost from a 4770 for the ~50W higher idle load. Plus, it might be nice to see what the latest crop of games looks like on settings higher than medium.
