Well whatever you do stick with your Japanese bikes, forget Harely. If you want a dependable, high performance machine then Honda, Kawasaki , Suzuki or Yamaha should make something to suit your needs.

I don't have a motorcycle, but I've wanted a Suzuki SV650S for a while now.
Apparently suzuki's site doesn't allow direct linking to that page, so try going to this page, and clicking "sv650s".

1. Harleys are every bit as reliable as the Japanese bikes.
2. Some people are not interested in being boy racers.
3. Harleys have the highest resale value, by far, of any manufacturer.
After 20 some years on crotch rockets, my boy racer days are behind me. If you want a good, dependable cruiser with class, buy a Harley.
And that's what I did.

Yeah, seriously. Some people love harleys, other like sports bikes. A bike is a bike. I still wave at all bikers, regardless of what kind of bike they ride.
