Mayne already said more than once that he had an old account here, which I assume was/is SaltyNuts. There's too much overlap in their posting styles (the potato obsession being one, as well as random gross, suspension-worthy outbursts).

TFP is another user here, it's not Mayne. Frankly, that's insulting to TFP.

he actually did have an account in the very early days (1999 or 2000) and got banned back then.

He does a lot of playing dumb. I don't doubt he can at least use a VPN. Very few users who registered that far back on AnandTech isn't capable of at least that much.

This, too. It's painfully obvious it's the same user, and he's trolling a large percentage of the time.

I don't mind the non-personal Mayne threads, which are actually okay sometimes (we could use the activity), but the trolling isn't funny. I mean literally they aren't humorous or witty. He should just give up on that. They don't even work to provoke people that well, they are just junk posts only slightly above pure spam like we get in the wee hours of the morning.

If he just wants attention, he's getting it, as this thread demonstrates.
