In somewhat new news, on 1/292013, Israel along with all UN nations is expected to attend a UN review of their human rights record.

As Israel may try to boycott the meeting instead. Something even the USA advises Israel not do.

http://news.yahoo.com/israel-expected-boycott-u-n-rights-scrutiny-session-190416848.html

As I am posting this more as news and somewhat commentary, as it may become the final end blunder of the Netanyuhu political career.

Only time will tell.

In short monovillage your list includes almost 100% of the population of the world.

As you somehow think, monovillage, that Israel, at best an 8 million population nation, can tell a 6 billion population world that only Israel is somehow special and above the same laws and rules everyone else is subject to???????????????

As you, monovillage ignore something else equally glaring and more pertinent. in the very recent 1/22/2013 election.

In assuming that Netanyuhu equals all of Israel and always will????????????????

Because if the Netanyuhu Moses wants to lead Israel into bat shit crazy la la land, Netanyuhu may lose the majority of his support and maybe the equally strong center left parties may form the new Israeli coalition government. As Netanyuhu may end up being powerless as more rational Israelis form the new Israeli government.

Are there many African countries with room to talk regarding human rights?

... Yet thirteen seats.

Saudi's and China too. Talk about the dream team right there.

The human rights commission is trying to apply laws and regulations to Israel that they don't apply to other nations. Which you know , but you'd rather lie about it.

What do the elections in the United States have to do with the joke of the U.N. human rights commission and how are they pertinent?

As monovillage asks, "What do the elections in the United States have to do with the joke of the U.N. human rights commission and how are they pertinent? "

And if monovillage even bothered to read the link I provided in the intial post on this thread, he would have understand the 1/22/2013 election was in Israel and not the USA.

Other than that, no one knows what the outcome of the 1/29/2013 human rights commission will ultimately mean for Israel.

And rather than making concrete predictions, we may end up finding the actual intial short time results very soon.

When the countries on the HRC have clean hands; then they can concern themselves with Israel and the Palestinians (at the same time);

Until then, it is the pot calling the kettle black

We all know Israel gets a pass.

Israel's secretly developed nukes, failed to disclose having said nukes, and even threatened to use said nukes.... all of which we've invaded countries for less.

Israel is the definitive double standard.

why should Israel disclose that they have nukes?
What obligates them to do so; identify the treaty. Or you just "FEEL" that they should.

Where has the government threaten to actually use nukes - especially if they have not admitted that they have them?
Or you just "FEEL" that they said it.

What is the "or else" if Israel refuses to comply?

Maybe an EK post that gets at the heart of the matter.

As we can ask the same exact question about Iran!

If Israel has the right to refuse to disclose they have actually have nukes, why should anyone give any credibility to the Israeli contention that the larger world should embargo and punish Iran, for "POSSIBLY" trying to develop a nuclear weapons program?

As I await the EK answer to the this question? As earth to EK, you can't have it both ways. Especially when the larger world community is sick of Israeli bullshit regarding a Palestinian State.

When the real issue of this thread, is will Israel leadership finally start to change and become a peace partner or will Israel leadership stay stuck on an a unsustainable stupidity that cannot last much longer?

Women in most Muslim countries are not allowed to vote.
Women in many Muslim countries are not allowed to drive a car.
Women in many Muslim countries legally have their "account" in a criminal case as being worth half of that as a man's account.

Only Islam is allowed in Saudi Arabia.
Non-Muslims cant enter Mecca or Medina.
Islam is the state religion of Egypt, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iraq and most other Muslim countries.

Non-Muslims, just like women, in most Muslim countries have their account of a crime being worth half that of a Muslim...Non-Muslims in most Muslim countries cant vote and cant hold a position in public office or even be a police officer. I can go and on, but its fucking hilarous to see that Muslims - who are the ones crying about Jews/Israel and egging on the UN about Israel, to rag Israel on human rights...Muslim countries treat non-Muslims like shit and treat their own women like shit.

Get out of here.

The unsustainable stupidity in every thread you start on this subject is your utter and abject REFUSAL to recognize that peace is a 2-way street and as long as a relevant portion of Palestinians refuse peace there is nothing Israel can do. Until Hamas is willing to realistically accept peace and negotiate in good faith with Israel there will be no peace, ever.

Unfortunately, much like Hamas, it seem impossible to get that fact through your unbelievably thick skull.

"Its not getting any Easier for Israel"

The real topic is "It's not getting any harder for Israel"

That's the bottom line. Everyone knows the UN HRC is a farce. Thanks for the news update and we will be on our way.

UN is runs by a bunch of idiots from Africa. Those African states do not give you time to talk, do not want to listen to you and make sure they scrap what you say from any reports. So Israel have a good point

Yeah those people got on space ships and went exploring the stars never to be seen again.

If Jews got gassed for being Jews, it's only fitting for Holocaust deniers to be gassed for being Holocaust deniers. The only difference is that one group isn't delusional.
