No, but being born with testicles and no ovaries DOES make you a man.

but what about her vag? there's the difference right there, if she has a vag, and undescended testicles, that would make her more of a woman than a man.

I believe she is trying to point out that many women can't concieve a child for various reasons, yet this doesn't not disqualify them from being a women.
Exactly, SandEagle was just trolling me as usual. He knew what I meant. I have him/it on ignore, but he/it gets quoted and then unfortunately I see his paltry attempts to flamebait me.

You don't realize how many women you just put a knife thru.

they aren't terriably useful unless they wet nurse or provide child care. Hence why they are often relegated to subserviant roles as omega females in the most cultures.

I feel that if you are NOT born PURE female you shouldnt be able to compete as one. If anything just because you may TECHNICALLY be a "female" you are still on quite a manly frame and build, as is obvious by her pictures.

If I were born with a vagina and testicles but no ovaries I can compete as a female? What if I wanted to compete as a male?

Lines have to be drawn somewhere...and this is one of those times. Im sorry, but its just an unfair advantage...and not so much unfair just because shes better and faster, but just because she shouldnt be competing with real 100% females like all the other participants are.

I may not be 100% politically correct here, but I dont care...you just have to say no to people sometimes...doesnt matter what gender they are or lack-there-of...

So....if you were a 'male' without testicals...are you allowed to compete in male sports?

Or for those who think this female runner shouldn't be allow to compete in women's sports, can she compete in the male division?

Is the general consensus on this board that men are better than women, and that being a woman is a disadvantage?

Look at the time differences between men's and women's track, and you have your answer.

So since women are inferior (in sports) any trace of manliness is a potentially unfair advantage?

How far do we go, because gender lines can be pretty easily blurred.

Do the female reproductive organs have to be in pristine condition? Should we start checking all women to make sure they have fertile ovaries?

I dont get it.. Better to leave him alone? Is he always this antagonistic?

Or by the fact you called me jelly fish you too are jumping in and calling me spineless.

I am getting a mixed message.

But I get that a lot LOL.....

Flame wars..... When I was 15... Maybe LOL... Big maybe...

Internet tends to strip people's manners away...
I made a point, and had one fact incorrect. Still doesnt deter from my position that he (the golfer guy I was speaking about) NOR this person should be allowed to compete.
And right off the bat zippy refers to talking out the asshole?
Nah, that speaks levels to this person........ Done move on...

I guess that should be up to each sports governing body what actually comprises being a "female". I would think that if you were a female athlete, that you would want a fair playing field. Otherwise gender based sport might as well go away.

Haha

He called you brainless, so I making the joke that I took his comment literally by saying that you are pretty smart for someone without a brain.

I mean, if you really had no brain, then posting on ATOT would be quite a feat.

What if someone has testicles, but no penis?

Or someone had fully functioning ovaries, but also a penis?

Is the slightest trait of male genitalia taint the person's gender? Or is it that being male is so much better than being female, thats only the purest females can be counted as female, for the sake of their protection?

Simple Test:
Testicles? Man
Ovaries? Woman

So are you advocating no gender based sports? I'm not really sure what your point is.

Another article said something about her getting treatment for the high testosterone. If there's some medical way to get her hormone levels to within the normal range, there should be no problems competing on a level playing field. However, with the reduced hormones, she might not be a world champion runner anymore.

She could easily get the vestigial testicles removed. Then, what's the next excuse? Anyway, IAAF has already made their decision.

I don't really have one. My posts are just a lame attempt to inject some life into an otherwise stale debate by shifting the topic to gender roles in general.

Wouldn't work since many high-performance female athletes usually aren't fertile, they have no periods or irregular periods.

Evolutionarily it was advantageous to not breed during periods of intense exercise since it usually meant it was a bad time to have babies.

So, in this hypothetical world, if it turned Arnold Schwarzenegger actually had functioning ovaries hidden inside him, he would be a woman?

And it turned out Megan Fox actually had testicles inside her? She would be a man (and all of you guys on ATOT would be gay)?

EDIT: or what if someone had both testicles and ovaries?
