At least the PGA stepped up years ago and didnt allow a "handicaped" person to play the tour if he used a golf cart. Walking a squillion yards IS part of the game and the endurance. If you never walked it, then you cant comment.

All human bodies produce testosterone. Males generally produce more than women but some women produce more than some men. Where do you draw the line saying "x amount of testosterone makes you male"? I can guarantee that there will be women born, totally naturally, that produce more than that arbitrary amount of testosterone.

I don't know what rock you've been living under, but Casey Martin DID win his case. It went as far as the Supreme Court and they upheld the lower courts ruling that he be allowed to use a cart. As a golfer I thought it was a bullshit decision and that riding gives a player an advantage, especially in hot weather and on hilly courses. Ultimately it was irrelevant to Martin as he failed to keep his card even with the cart, he dropped back to the Nationwide Tour for a few years and eventually lost his card there too. He's now a college golf coach.
