Well I'm thoroughly disappointed, I'm a big Bill Clinton fan. I am also disappointed with the Democratic Party. We lost the working vote by being complacent about Obama's TPP push and haven't been aggressive enough about ideas. Hopefully this loss will refocus the party.
I am also embarrassed about all the big money the party attracted this cycle.
I'll say I am happy with Trumps stand on trade, I'm OK with a wall but I don't think it will accomplish anything.

The lesson I've learned is that I can't apply logic and common sense to a presidential race where Donald Trump is in the running. He's defied all reason and logic in his race to the top.

Oh, and as an aside, what's your thoughts on this pundit (I forget what network as I was furiously flipping channels at the time) saying that one of the main reasons Trump is showing so strongly is because of "White Lash" against minorities of which is an angle that Trump was exploiting.

that's 20 electoral votes for Trump.

I don't know why people are afraid of what Trump will do.

He will do exactly 3 things, the only things he can do as POTUS without the establishment Dems and Repubs backing him.

1 - Appoint SCOTUS judges. He's going strict constitutionalism, so get used to following the constitution.

2 - Enforce the law. Yes, this includes immigration law.

3 - Veto bills he disagrees with.

That's pretty much it.

Oh, and he can appoint a DOJ head that will drain the swamp a bit. Expect that, it's coming. Clinton Foundation is going down.

Taking money, or your spouse taking money, from a foreign gov't while you are in office is a felony. That's a fact. Think about that, and why it hasn't been prosecuted (yet). This is Obama's scandal that he ignored. Expect Obama to pardon Clinton, but expect their little cronies to go down.

If the founding fathers were strict constructionists in regards to the Constitution they wouldn't have made it possible (if very difficult) to amend it.

As for enforcing the law /shrug the law is something to fear these days depending on the amount of melanin in your skin

He'll do more than veto Bills.... Ironically President Obama just helped destroy is legacy by going for the establishment person.

Supreme court, and the 2nd amendment, is now secure. If he can get 4 good years in, maybe 8, then let the GOP take over, the Supreme Court will be set. If he does nothing else I'd be fine.

I think he'll get some other stuff done. Overall, DC will capture him, it won't be as big of a deal as people think.

Nobody has let a loser run again years later except for Nixon. And that turned out not so great. They wont do it again.
We'll be looking at someone relatively new. Remember, Barack Obama was not well-known but they damn sure werent gonna nominate Gore or Kerry again.

In fact, since Obama did so well I predict another young black man with ivy league training and a little time in the Senate or House. Thats my guess.

Rs own the next budget and debt ceiling. F them. Make them pass it. They promised deficit reduction, massive tax cuts, and massive spending. Good luck with that. Hold them to their bullshit as you want to cherry pick.

In the meantime the Trump U lawsuits will move fwd. The sexual assaults aren't going away. Where's his tax returns? His business conflicts? He's a known dirty businessman, let's learn it all.
