This argument reminds me of the whole 'I don't date black people but I'm not racist it's just preference'. You can make all kinds of excuses but again if your method of exclusion is based on the race of a person it's racist. As a corollary to this, if it can be mathematically shown that your method is disproportionately shown to affect a group it is an 'ist' too. If Trump could control the borders, start deporting criminal illegals, make some smarter trade deals that reflect our value as a market, seat a solidly pro-Second Amendment SCOTUS, and be socially utterly liberal, he might be my favorite President of my lifetime. I just can't reconcile that image with my image of Trump the reality show buffoon. But I pray you are correct about at least part of that. And that Trump was being honest about the parts of his platform that I like.You nailed it.
If people were paying attention and were as smart as they think they are, they would've read his books and statements he made prior to running for POTUS and studied what little he has let out about his real platforms.
