Are the blue counties under-reported so far? Right now Trump has a 3% lead with 82% reporting supposedly, a big difference from what all the previous polls indicated.

Exactly, phone surveys had a huge lead with Hillary but vote tallies are saying something quite different.
So either tons of people lied OR they didnt call a diverse enough group during the phone surveys.

CNN is reporting he is getting the rural vote out and has a path to 270. He has to win a lot of close races, but doing better than I think anyone expected

Yup still a lot of votes from Fairfax, Arlington, Richmond city, etc. to be counted. Granted it's much closer than anyone thought it would be, which means other results might also surprise.
