We just had our wallpaper on our terminals here changed to a pic of Mr T pointing at you saying "It's pronounced Ey-soos. Teachin' fools some basic rules. I pity the fool". Aside from being a little insulting it's hard for me to see it being pronounced that way. For me and just about everyone I work with here as well (all Chinese) it's just Asus (just about rhymes with faces). I know in Taiwan that it's pronounced Ey-Soos but still.

Sorry wat? Asus boards are the industry leaders. Just ask any computer tech or anyone with experience assembling computers. Most swear by Asus and or Gigabyte. Their Laptops are also close to No1 or 2 price/value wise for many market segments.

It sounds like your just saying aces, thats the only way I could get ASUS to rhyme with faces.

Ay-soos is pretty much how I would pronounce it, given no prior knowledge of the languages involved.

Asus is more marketing than quality imo. I've had too much bad luck with them. Gigabyte has been rock solid for me though.
