No idea who's going to win. I'm not a big NASCAR guy, but I always try to watch the races at the two big tracks - Daytona and Talladega. Usually very good stuff with all the tight drafting.

I'm a #20, #8, and #29 fan so either one of those three will be fine for me. But I'm probably pulling for Tony a little bit more.

Personally, I want to see Michael Waltrip win... although he probably doesn't stand a chance. I guess that I'm rooting for the bad guy this year

Dale Earnhardt was my favorite person to watch,
after Richard Petty retired.

I almost went to Daytona, to see the race in person, the year Dale died.

I want to see one of the older guys win,
like Mark Martin.

I think Tony Stewart will win, but I'd like Dale Jr to. If a rookie wins, it will be Juan Pablo Montoya.

Every race on Fox, anyway... Darrell Waltrip is an exclusive announcer for them. Either you like him or hate him, I guess.

Anyway, is it just me or does the HD feed look jittery? I had to switch to the non HD channel because it getting on my nerves.

I'd pay more attention to nascar if it were all road races. The only nascar race that's ever held my attention was a road race & it was pretty entertaining. Going around in a circle just doesn't do it for me.

No they made it so he didnt slam into the wall...

The roof flaps are to help keep the car on the ground in cases like this so that they don't go airborne.

So what's the over/under for how many times we'll hear roughly this same comment over the course of the race?
