iTunes 7 for Mac - Stability issues?

I installed Itunes 7 yesterday and while listening to a party shuffle
I get a "application closed unexpectedly" or something to that effect.
This has been happening about every half hour or so. I had zero problems with the previous version. Anyone else having any trouble with the new iTunes?

I sent a couple error reports to Apple.

Sorry, I've been putting off the upgrade 'til I stop hearing bad things about it

Just got off the phone with Apple support, they suggested repairing the permissions on the drive in Disk utility.
It did come up with one entry related to Itunes, we'll see what happens, he gave me one other thing to try if the problem continues.

I'll post back with my results.

Looks good so far.. been playing for about and hour and a half with no problems. +1 for Apple support

I might try iTunes 7 on my MacBookPro sometime tomorrow.

After the NIGHTMARE I had with iTunes 7 on my PC, I am now back to running 6.0.4 and 6.0.5 on all of my machines.

I want to use iTunes 7, but the sound distortion on my PC was driving me crazy. Here's hoping for 7.0.1....

no crashing here so far.

updating the album covers still neat feature. they save the jpgs in the album folder right? its still running and will be for hours it seems at this rate so i dunno, and digging through my collection to find out doesn't sound like fun.
