itunes dilemas....

Hello I live in Canada and have just signed up for an itunes account hoping that it would allow me to download tv shows via itunes. But none of them are available in the canadian store, I was wondering if anybody either knew how i can make myself able to download from the american store, or how i can contact apple, I tried browsing their website, but with no luck finding an email.

Welcome to artificial regionalisation in the internet age. There's no official way to solve this problem as it exists intentionally.

However some Germans have successfully ordered from the US store declaring that they are US Army members serving in Germany. Must be a checkbox somewhere, and you can configure which store you want to browse. I don't know if this trick still works or if there are any US bases in Canada but I don't know any other solution that work without an US credit card.
