I like to think he still has a self built PC at home.
I replaced the battery in mine a few years ago. I bought it from the FS/FT forum here back in 2007 or soProlly in some junk drawer...dead battery and all.
Sorting cables last week and found one I didn't know...ipod.
I'm still rocking a 2500k and GTX580 at home. Just been using a Surface 4 and my iPad to do things these days.I like to think he still has a self built PC at home.

I use a laptop for all of my computer needs these days. I use my iPad for everything else.
Have the mods' permaban buttons been broken that long?

LOL, I ran mine daily around 4.4GHz for a few years, until I realized how much power the damn thing was using for no reason. I'd like to change it out for something more modern, but damn, I'd have to buy a new motherboard, cpu, ram and video card...in a mini-itx form factor because my wife won't like me having a real desktop.man my 2500k OC'd so well that it lasted for 8 years

Are you suggesting that's amdhunter and he should be cracking the whip on that CPU despite the electrical bill?
I still have a core2duo based machine running. Recently retired a core2quad by virtualizing it. I can't afford to build new systems like I could ~10 years ago so most of my stuff is pretty old by today's standards.
dude, you live off of snow melt and beaver meat and pinecones, and apparently in a remote neighborhood of rural Canada that is mostly thieving meth-heads if your posts are to be believed, so I can't imagine life is at all expensive for you.
pure BS you can't afford these things.
hell is basically real life but with no ATOT
Are you sure it isn't the other way round?
Tell me about it. We got rid of my desk, computer chair and all the "spare" computer parts I had lying around. The apartment is much cleaner, but sometimes I miss playing a FPS and sitting in my undies looking out my window from my desk...lol
