...that I actually see more Dean stickers on vehicles than I do kerry stickers even still today. Why is that? I thought the democrats were "united". Or is that just a stunt they are trying to play with the press? Seems to me if they really were united they'd have already switched their bumperstickers. Also just as a further note - I probably see more Gephardt for Pres stickers than I do kerry at the moment too and Gephardt dropped out a long time ago(but then again there are alot of die hard liberals who support Gep.)

Just wondering what other people are seeing out there in there area. I see little "unification" FOR kerry so far - at least from what people are outwardly showing. Anecdotal? yep - but that's why I'm asking what others see

I saw a few Dean supporters with signs on a street corner earlier this month. Thought that was odd... But then I noticed they were underneath a huge Moveon.org billboard.

I agree that there isn't much 'pro kerry' out there, but that's a good thing in a way. All of us voting for the guy know he's an ignoranus. We don't want to talk him up when we know he's gonna suck. The only point is that it'll be better than the bush/pnac ticket. That's ALL that matters. Period. It's not a copout, it's self-preservation. Get Nicolae out today, worry about everything else tomorrow.

At least, when I talk with those around me that's the general reason for not being over the top kerry fanatics. As for the dean stickers, too lazy to take them off I suppose.

In Little Rock, there are Clark stickers still around. Kerry isn't nearly as popular as Bush, if you only look at the bumper stickers and billboards. Nobody openly admits to liking Bush, but they are not ashamed to state that they don't like Kerry.

I'd rather have a root canal than vote for Kerry, but voting for Bush would require brain surgery.

Anybody but Bush is a bit limiting. I'd go with anything a monkey and up but Bush. For example a baboon would be fine.

Is Dean still on the ballot?
He was in California, why, had you hoped to get my vote by running against him?

The consensus between Democrats in this country doesnt seem to be "Pro Kerry", but rather "Anyone but Bush". Im not quite sure what to make of that. In my neck of the woods here in California, I see scattered Kucinich front lawn signs or Bush/Cheney 04 bumper stickers. I have yet to see ANYTHING pro Kerry.

Just shows how bad a job that the Dub is doing when a Liberal Senator from Mass can give him a run for his money

If I'm a democrat, I'm certainly not united behind Kerry . . .

Dean actually stood for something. He had a voice. He had a vision. Kerry is nothing more than a centrist who will do nothing more than preserve the status quo.

it's still pretty early... most of the Kerry stickering won't start until the summer/fall.

I haven't seen any presidential election posters whatsoever in Jersey. I guess cause it doesn't matter; the chances of New Jersey's electoral college votes going to the Republican Party has gotta be something close to 0.

Kerry will have to raise the level of enthusiasm for his candidacy by a large margin to get the normally lethargic Democratic voters to the polls. Anyone But Bush is catchy, but it is not the same as believing in your candidate.

Right now, I'd say the only hope for the Dems is for Bush to keep giving performances like the one he gave last night. At some point, a large enough segment of the population MAY conclude that Bush doesn't have the right stuff. But no one should count on that happening.

Bush still looks like the winner to me. But, ask me again if the Dow goes under 9500.

It is still early in the process. The Democrats have not had their convention yet. You will start to see move pro-Kerry signs, bumper sticers, etc in two months or so.

Yes, I understand that but what is all this BS about "unity" then?
