Probably still an excellent deal at that price.

To other's, buying a 11 year old car at $30k is much different than 5 - 6 year financing.

They look to be, but they're in the wrong order. I don't know what to make of it. I would like to think that an M fan wouldn't:

1) Put the M stripes on a Dodge and
2) Put them in the wrong order

stripes like that are to make sure that an electronic lap timer or timing lights catch the car when moving fast. or at least it was something like this.

Just bought a yellow 2001 RT/10, hopefully the first of many:

It's a low mile (15,200), two owner car. The current owner has had it since 2002.

Three tops, two sets of OEM wheels, Baer brakes, some form of aftermarket cat-back exhaust (at this point unknown brand).

The only real flaw so far is that the tires currently on it are what the car sold with - 11 year old tires on a Viper. Scary stuff.

First stop will be at my local tire store where I have a new set of Michelin PS2's waiting for it.

Did it come with a dyno sheet to back up the 500 HP claim? I didn't see "tune" in the list of mods. Or did the owner just do ricer math and take the stock HP on the brochure and then +40 HP HP from the cat back and +45 HP for the K&N? I see that alot with Vettes and Vipers. If a car is modified and the owner is claiming something significant like 100 HP over stock, I want the name of the tuner or at least a dyno sheet, preferebly with AFR shown.

Guess it doesn't really matter at that price though, just something that always catches my attention. Usually people over estimate added power from mods to justify an overpriced ad.

Yeah, that's really strange. A guy I know cheaped out on tires for his F348 by replacing only the fronts. He spun out and pranged a curb pretty hard. Two new rear wheels and an alignment later and he keeps fresh donuts on his cars now.

Vipers are cool cars.
