i want to upgrade from my canon s230 - i didn't figure out til it was past the warranty date that something was wrong and my camera can't take outdoor pictures well. (indoor is fine)

anyhow, i would like something that's at least 5 megapixels...so i have been eyeing the canon s500 - but it just doesn't seem that impressive over the s410 - besides, i bet the will come out with the next version soon (4 months after i got my s230, they came out with the s400!!! darn the canon manufacturer!) i heard that the nikon coolpix line is also good. i'm trying to steer clear of sony only becuase they sell proprietary parts - and i hate the fact that anything i need for the camera means that i have to buy the sony brand.

i like small camera size - hey, just look at my login name - i'm a princess! hahaha. i like to be able to carry the camera in my purse so i don't want anything that can't fit in my purses.

so what do you suggest? and also, i'm looking to buy after thanksgiving - i figure that is when i can find the best deals. any suggestions?

I'm looking for light bulbs. What are the best places to buy bulbs - online or otherwise? Compact fluoro lights are ok, but I'm really looking for the incandescent (sp?) traditional kind.

A one time hot deal is great, but I'm also looking for a place to go back to on a regular basis... always seems like we're out of bulbs.

Some place that carries recessed can lights would be good too as we have a bunch of those in the kitchen.
