Iwill kk266 stalling boot, please help

I have the above motherboard with
Win 98se
Duron 800@1000 7.5X133
256 pc133 micron
geforce ddr
30 WD hard drive
340 watt AMD aproved power supply
Temp at full load prime 95 torture 46c

When I boot up the system stops at the very begining of the post. If I hit spacebar it continues on but does the same thing on the win98se splash screen but when hit space again it boots into windows.
I can get into the bios and have tried many changes but nothing seems to help.

Any suggestions?

Looks like you have the same problems I did.

Head on over to the AMDMB.com and check out the Iwill motherboard forum. Multiple threads exist about GeForce hard booting problems and discussions, illustrations, background info of the solutions.

The common denominator we have is the board (Iwill KK266) and the video card (GeForce 256). The GeForce needs 3.3V and the board is hit or miss (mostly miss) on it on boots and reboots. The solution that worked is a simple wire connection to the 3.3V line your ATX plug (mine is pin 1, single orange wire in the Enermax VB ATX plug) to the AGP transistor. No more boot/reboot problems on my board.

And yes, I thought RMA'ing might be the better fix but you'll likely end up having the same problems.
