Quality of my other Jabra headset is excellent, though I don't know about this specific mic boom type. Mine is the type with the combo mic/spkr in the earpiece and the cord used is much heavier duty than the usual handsfree headsets. For -$5, it'd be worth it either way-

hm wow, this works at b&m eh? pretty sweet with the rebate too, but i'm not too sure about the quality i like my plantronics boom with head phone like head clamp i have too many headsets, but most suck, most of thoe ear clip ones just aren't as comfy

My Samsung 3500 speaker hasn't worked for a long time and I have been using many different headsets, exclusively, over the last year or so. Jabra is BY FAR the best I have used. I use the ear bud style and the fit is perfect. I have yanked the wire and ran it over with my wheelchair, unwound it from my front caster when it got tangled. I eventually had to solder the wire back on after a really bad rollover. The tiny speaker cover was so cracked, I eventually super glued it together. Last weak it stopped working again, so I figured I needed to redo my sorry soldering job. Problem was that the cover was crazy glued. So I got my pliers and literally busted it in pieces trying to reach the wires to solder them again. Turned out the soldering was still intact, the headset just finally gave up the ghost after being horribly abused.

Moral of the story, that sucker got abused like crazy, and when it finally was so busted it no longer worked, I contacted Jabra and told them it didn't work. They told me to send it back and they would replace it. So I packaged up the headset pieces and sent it back and in less than a week, I got a replacement. In the interim I brought my other headsets and none compared for comfort or sound quality.

BTW, I called sprint the same day I contacted Jabra and told them my phone didn't work and they sent me the Kyocera 6035

After I got one of the Jabras without the boom as a freebie after rebate, I was skeptical. The mic in the earpiece? C'mon! Well, it actually works great with both my Startac and Siemens handsets. Nice sound quality, too.

These have been free from time to time at CC and CompUSA. Might be worth it to wait, even if it's just $5.

Obviously, everyone's experience is different, but I have a Jabra handsfree earpiee/boom mic and it's noticeably better than other brands I tried before. I think at $5 it would be a good deal.

Just got back from Radioshack and they were out of the SKU on the coupon, but I found a non-boom type headset for $4.97 with the ten dollar rebate. Apparently the rebate is good on all Jabra products. The CAT-No. for the set I got is 4301904. YMMV because it was on the clearance rack, but its worth a shot.

I use 2 Jabra all in 1 dealies w/ my home phone, and won't use anything else. Works like a charm!
