Cliffs notes on bottom....
To start with, my room mates and I are not loud or rude. We are carefull to not make too much noise especially late at night, and we have had no complaints from any neighbors except this one guy. (upstairs)
He made complaints for "blasting music at all ours of the night " for playing Halo until about 11:30 pm on a Saturday. It was a little loud, but not blasting.
A friend who lives on the other side of the complex had 2 complaints from this guy for playing his acoustic guitar in the early evening. It wasn't amplified, so it was not very loud, and the most rediculous part is that our friend lives no where near this guy. Any noise he makes could not possibly be heard by the idiot neighbor. The guy had to have been walking by my friend's apartment and heard him playing.
Last night a few friends and I were in the hot tub at around 9:40 pm. (pool and hot tub use is suposed to end at 10 pm) Just talking and hanging out. We were not loud. At almost exactly 10 pm we were about to start getting out and drying off, this guy comes down and starts chewing us out for being so loud and keeping his kids awake. Then he's going off on how hot tub hours end at 10, so since it's 10 and we're still there so he called the police. The other guys who live there claim he's done this a few times before. He never asked anyone to be quiet or warned them that if they were too loud he'd call the cops. He just calls the cops then chews people out.
No other person in this complex has complained about me or my friends other than this one guy. We get along with everyone else pretty well.
I also found out from other neighbors that this guy doesn't work and stays home all day. His kid is an actor, and this guy is living off his kid.
I'm looking for ways that we can really annoy the hell out of this guy without getting caught. Anyone have ideas?
