I'd say it's the last chance to get in on the game for $25, but apparently they'll still be accepting PayPal after the KS closes to put toward the stretch goals. After the KS you might not get the JA 1 - 2 downloads though.

Yes! After years of hoping and praying. Looks like we're going to get a true sequel (a prequel storyline in this case) in the JA series! I'm excited and I haven't been this excited about a game in a long time.

FYI, in their update today they say they've raised $380 K so far and we will be getting the first stretch goal of mine sectors like in JA 2.

So the game officially released this week.

We are proud to announce that we have finally left the confines of development. Most of you have been actively supporting our project - some even from day one. We really appreciate all of the feedback, suggestions and bug reports we received, as it ultimately made Jagged Alliance: Flashback what is today.

From Kickstarter to Early Access and finally to launch – we want to thank the supporters, the fans, the veterans and most of all the backers who made this possible!

This franchise has really been beaten to death by poor games like this.

I can only hope for an HD remake for 1,2 and Deadly Games.

Shame.

I've increasingly 'gone off' remakes of 'golden era' games like this. They rarely work out "true to the original" 15 years later with a different dev team & engine. In all honesty, if you absolutely want the original experience buy the originals on GOG. They're often under $5 in sales, and JA2 runs fine on 64-bit Win7, takes up all of 869MB HDD space and uses barely 100MB RAM.

I'd disagree as soon as I finish repairing my toaster, but in fairness Wasteland 2 is by Bryan Fargo.

Certainly getting mixed reviews, but I did just learn Xenonauts came out last June, don't know how I missed that. It's getting solid reviews, so maybe I'll stick with that instead.
