I just want to say that James Brown may be "the hardest working man in show business." This man is around 75 years old and he can dance and shake like the 30 year old backup dancers he's hired. He actually keeps up with these HOT HOT HOT ladies.
Last night we had a James Brown concert at my school and I was asked to help do stage crew (setup and tear down + watch the show for free). As part of a secondary job the stage crew is to be backup security because the idiots in charge always pick the smallest frat's on campus to be in charge of security. So the show is coming towards an end and Mr. Brown starts motioning single girls to come to the stage. After 2 or 3 girls go up it becomes almost a mad rush. About 40 girls try to shake the hand of the "godfather of soul." So I become a buffer.
This 45 year old, wrinkled lady starts grinding on me so she can get closer (i'm within reach but she isnt) and James Brown (who puts on one of the best concerts i've ever seen) reaches down, taps me on the shoulder and says "thank ya brotha, i appriciate it."
All in all, this was a great night. So remember if you can see James Brown in concert for under 40 bucks. He's definately worth the money.
