Kids do stupid things because they don't grasp the long term implications of their actions. They lack the experience, and often times the guidance, necessary to make wise choices.
In the case of sexual activity, that urge is built into us, for many it's irresistible. It's also a far cry from handing your kids drugs that will fundamentally alter their entire life.

He most likely thinks a parent or pre-teen kid can waltz into a GP's office and demand drugs...and are given them without hesitation. He has not one inkling of the evaluations the kid has to go through before being given access to anything chemical or surgical.

I don't know what the process is, and quite honestly, I don't care. It's become a fad, we're experimenting on our own children and my guess is it's not going to end well.To illustrate that you understand it yourself for starters.... I have no issue admitting that I have no idea how it works myself.
