heh...this has nothing to do with your post, but...

I remember writing a paper, and didn't want to write 'Japanese' out over and over on the rough draft so I wrote 'Jap' to shorthand. The TA wrote on there that it was a derogatory term and to be careful using it.

I just thought it was funny because I'm Asian...

Nope. If it was 3-4x larger then maybe it would be. Also Komodo Dragons aren't very safe to play with, if they bite you you'll most likely die from infections.
