Japanese and Korean are super easy to distinguish between.
I wouldn't have known if え weren't posted. I know that's a Korean character, but I don't speak Korean outside of a few TKD barkings.
Haha, you guys crack me up. I posed いえ, which is romanized as ie, or no, although really I should have posted いいえ.
The second character, e, is definately part of Japanese hiragana. If you don't believe me, you can find it on this wiki page ->
