Cutler was Shanahan's golden boy, and I'm not surprised about all that's happened after Shanahan got canned. He was a solid QB when he was on, but he was so damn inconsistent. He did make the Pro Bowl (as a backup) but he didn't really deserve. This team is being completely gutted it looks like, but after last season it can only help us.

Have fun getting sacked 100 times in Detroit, dipshit.

:disgust:

Yeah, it was definitely the offense that lost those games for them. The defense was AMAZINGLY good.

Sure was:

Last 3 games, 2 TD and 4 INT for Cutler. Result = 3 losses.

Somebody call a WHAAAMBULANCE

Haha, nice pic edit.

Last three games:

Loss to Carolina 30-10
Loss to Buffalo 30-23
Loss to SD 52-21

At Carolina, you only score 10, chances are you'll lose.

At Buffalo, Cutler threw no TDs and 1 INT. BUT, he ran for 2 TDs.

At San Diego, 21 points could have been enough to win (but SD was just so killer those last weeks it would not have mattered.)

You can bash him for the Carolina and SD game, but I think he played great against Buffalo and if the defense had shown up for the 4th quarter (they gave up 2 touchdowns after only 1 touchdown and 3 field goals in the first 3 quarters) then the Broncos could have won.

I expected them to lose to Carolina and SD but Buffalo was completely winnable. Defense just wasn't there. And 1 game was all we needed for a playoff spot.

What does this have to do with cutlers agent? Try not lying to the kid would have been my suggestion.

But that's what happens when you get a coach from the patriots.

this is the same man that got farve out of GB and created all this drama...basically he got no big names in this years draft so I think he is just strutting his stuff because we have a draft coming up with 4 solid 1st round QBs and some serious other tallent...Cus Cook is cancer, TO is a cold compared to him

"I went in there with every intention of solving the issue, being a Bronco, moving forward as a Bronco," Cutler said. "We weren't in there but about 20 minutes, [McDaniels] did most of the talking and as far as I'm concerned, he made it clear he wants his own guy. He admitted he wanted Matt Cassel because he said he has raised him up from the ground as a quarterback. He said he wasn't sorry about it. He made it clear that he could still entertain trading me because, as he put it, he'll do whatever he feels is in the best interest of the organization.

"At the end of the meeting, he wasn't like, 'Jay, I want you as our quarterback, you're our guy.' It felt like the opposite. He basically said that I needed to tell him if we can't work this out, to let him know," Cutler added. "I thought he was antagonizing me and that was disappointing because I was ready to move on, committed as a Bronco. Really, I figured we'd hash things out, shake hands, laugh a little and move forward. What happened [Saturday] was the last thing I expected. If I didn't think it could be fixed, I never would have come back to Denver. It was painfully obvious to me and Bus [Cook, his agent] it's not something they want to fix."

Consequently, Cutler instructed Cook, who also attended the meeting, to formally request a trade. The quarterback said he left town late Sunday and would skip McDaniels' first (nonmandatory) team meeting Monday as the Broncos begin their offseason program.

So where do you think he's gonna go? So many teams would give up draft picks for him right now.

I hope he leaves or they trade him. As much as I liked him we can't have a QB that'll feel bummed all the time. Morale is important and he'll bring the whole team down if we keep him.

This guy whines because he hears his name in trade talks. I wouldn't want him on my team, he should suck it up and be a man.

His coach just flat out admitted to wanting someone else (Cassel) and says that they might still trade him.

Josh McDaniels certainly has a lot of balls.

Denver O still has no running back that can stay healthy, no TE, and Marshall is about an inch away from becoming TO#2, so lets not get too carried away.

Cleveland would not trade Quinn and the #5 pick for Cutler, and I doubt Detroit would part with the #1 pick and their 2nd pick.

Jets would give up pretty much all their draft picks in this draft to get Cutler though, and if the Vikings haven't already called the Broncos they are idiots.

actually, your points about cutler and denver O seem to contradict just a bit. i mostly agree with you regarding cutler, but an O with a good running game and a good TE also tend to make qb's bad decisions look better.

cutler, to me tho, is the real deal, he will be a good mb even great qb in the nfl. cassel i'm not as sure about which makes what the denver FO did seem very foolish.

and frankly, he has put his job on the line. if they can't secure cutler or someone with decent skills, his stay in denver is going to be pretty short.

Dude he's a bitch. He was bitching for a trade 2 months ago when his position coach was let go. Then the broncos explore trading him, and he says he feels they violated his trust. WTF? He was getting his wish. Lil bitch

Yes, this. Can't be any worse than TJ or Frerotte.

For the love of god bring him to TN!!!!

Broncos are idiots. He's going to be a great QB and their new Head Coach is blowing it.

I love the idiot who posted Cutlers numbers. His numbers are very close to Brady Year 3 numbers.

Brady - Year 3
3764 Yards
28 TD
14 INT
63.9 Pct
85.7 Rating

Cutler - Year 3
4526 Yards
25 TD
18 INT
62.3 Pct
86 Raiting

Yeah, looks like Cutler is a bad player.

I am starting to miss Shanahan more and more. I think Culter might be harder to replace than a coach.
