THIS When I read this story I couldn't believe it. If I was a father and couldn't see my child because his bodyguards stopped me someone would be HURTNah, what makes him a super douche is not allowing other people to enjoy their newborns and take care of their wives while he and his queen took over an entire hospital, ruining everybody else's special time.

1. They care about a cause and want to do something to help
2. They want to look good to other people
If he doesn't care enough to give money to his own charity why should anyone else? It's pretty obvious that he doesn't actually care about his cause if he gives such a tiny amount to it. He did it for reason #2, just to look good without actually doing any good.
In this recent presentation by Bill Gates (52:50 mark), he says he can understand having a few million because that provides a good amount of security but beyond that there's really nothing special about it.
