If all he's concerned with is donating money, why set up his own charity? There's plenty of others he could donate to. Also, people are neglecting to notice that he actively raises money for it. Take the concert last year that generated $1.5 million - generally, those people came because they wanted to see Jay-Z, not because they cared about the cause. You could just as easily say he made that $1.5 mil, and then donated all of it to his charity. Same effect.
