I had a fun Corvair in the late 80s.....'66 Corsa, 283 V8 mid-engine, Duntov 30-30 solid cam, Holley 4bbl, stock Corvair Saginaw 4-speed, 3.89 4-pinion posi, 7/8" sway bars, shorter steering arms, full-metallic drum brakes (those sucked!). It drove like it was on rails....what a blast

I owned a 1/2 ton Pickup, which had a 351 CI engine. Who manufactured it, what was the approximate year, and how many cylinders was it, and the diameter of the pistons. :Q Hint, it wasnt manufactured by Ford Motor Company and is a USA make.

Ok, I'll spill it....even though I Googled it
It's a GMC pickup, somewhere '60-'66 vintage, with a 351 V6. Lessee....weighs 900lbs (!), 3400RPM redline got info from this website They also show a 'Twin Six' V12 version :Q
Hmmm....they say the 351 came in 4000-5000 series trucks. That's a lot bigger than a half ton truck, isn't it???
