I got it figured out, it was a time traveler, ala 12 monkeys, who had to put the timeline back to what it was suppose to be,

Epstein was the first successful suicide at the MCC in 21 years. Impressive
Any credible statistics on that claim? Article just says

"A review of published stories found only one such death in the past 21 years, the 1998 suicide of South Philadelphia drug kingpin Louis Turra, who reportedly hanged himself."

Crazy if true but I like facts to rumors.
Can't be accurate. I've been able to find a few stories in the last couple years of suicides at MCC in a quick search.

https://www.vice.com/en_ca/article/...er-a-stolen-iphone-was-found-dead-in-his-cell

When Jairo Polanco Munoz was booked into the Manhattan Detention Complex for allegedly stealing an iPhone at a Dunkin' Donuts, no one seemed to care about his suicide attempt behind bars last April. The 24-year-old was held on $750 bail and given a basic mental health check-up. He was supposed to get a more comprehensive one within three days, but a stabbing caused a lockdown and delayed his appointment.

Two hours before the deadline on Monday, Munoz was found sitting on a toilet, blue in the face and cold to the touch.

So that story is just shitty lazy "some people are saying" journalism.
Your selected quote just says he was found blue and cold, sitting on a toilet. It does not specifically say it was ruled a suicide. If the article clarifies that it was definitively a suicide, you should quote that part.

I probably won't be able to return to this thread or read up on the news for a week or so. Got a few dozen UltraHDMI installs to do.

From the article.

"This suspected suicide, as with any death in DOC custody, concerns me greatly," Correction Commissioner Joseph Ponte said in a statement. "We are conducting a thorough investigation."

He was found hanging in his jail cell with a bedsheet wrapped around his neck and secured to the top of a bunk bed.

He apparently killed himself by kneeling toward the floor and strangling himself with a makeshift noose.

Note - this isn’t the classic hanging scenario, where you’re hanging from above like a hangman’s noose. The sheet was tied to the top of a bunk bed.

It is never helpful to disseminate unsubstantiated gossip about anyone involved in an ongoing scandal or controversy (or anyone else, for that matter). It merely deflects attention from what needs to be investigated.
TBH, seems unlikely to me that pieces of a bed sheet tied to an upper bunk and him "kneeling toward the floor" would have broken multiple bones in his neck. I think he was either murdered or is alive somewhere.

Depends on if he dropped himself or just relaxed into it, depends on if his relaxed weight was enough to break them after he went unconscious (spoiler: most likely), depends on if they were broken in some way after the fact, for instance when retrieving the body.

There's plenty of non-conspiracy options here.

EDIT: It's worth noting that the bone that broke (the Hyoid bone) is about 1cm thick, and 2.5cm wide. That's what, like the thickness of half a pencil?

NYC medical examiner rules it a suicide:

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/16/nyregion/jeffrey-epstein-autopsy-results.html

The official results of an autopsy showed that the financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in his Manhattan jail cell, the city’s medical examiner’s office said on Friday, determining that the cause of death was suicide by hanging.

The determination came six days after Mr. Epstein, 66, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, where he was awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.

Unfortunately, that will probably not even slow down the conspiracy theorists.
Like cheeto, they will all double down on stupid.

My old boss/owner told me that when Ken Lay died, he didn't really die. He was able to buy his way to freedom
before going to prison, and is alive somewhere.

I have a relative that believes we never landed on the moon and believes in chemtrails.
There's no shortage of idiots in this world. Having the birther-in-chief as the main antagonist
of the truth, only fuels these conspiracy theories.

You're so deeply concerned, maybe put him on ignore, or send him a pm about it, lol.... Here's another idea, go read up on strangulation, asphyxiation, and subsequent petechia(you know, all things associated with hanging). I mean, come on dude, it's not like this is hard to find. Stop being such a snowflake.

Why would he do that? He's just here to spread the FUD.

Epstein's attorneys will suck cash out of the estate as long as they possibly can. It's a damned shame for them that he killed himself, too, because endless appeals are pretty much off the table.
I would assume that there will be a near endless string of lawsuits against his estate. They can milk those for years.

It will get very messy if no will is found. Epstein's next of kin is his younger brother so it's not like wealthy families with lots of half siblings, business sinecures & ex-wives who all hate each other. They'll fight for more than a decade, even if it's just for sport.

Duh, how can the medical examiner determine that he wasn't murdered? That person knows that any other "finding" than for sure suicide would raise eyebrows and put them under pressure.

So now the medical examiner is part of the conspiracy too? And yes, medical examiners can determine if someone committed suicide with a reasonable degree of accuracy.

What evidence would you accept that says this was a suicide?

Suicide....

And Jack Ruby was just as angry patriot who shot Lee Harvey Oswald all on his own.

Quite frankly I think there's no possibility that I will ever be convinced that he committed suicide. Absolutely none. A jailer could have been paid off and let in parties that did the deed. There's certainly reason to suspect this happened and no person or piece(s) of evidence can prove it didn't happen. Super powerful people had reason to fear JE. Super powerful people can make villainous things happen. History has shown us this again and again. Sometimes it's obviously murder, other times they make it appear to be an accident, natural causes or suicide. Everyone has enemies, having powerful enemies is scary. Maybe it was suicide, but nothing will convince me it wasn't murder.

A medical can determine with "reasonable accuracy" if a death was a suicide, yes, but only in some circumstances. I don't think this is one of those.
